Name Reasoning:
Silus's first and middle name were given to him by his mother when he turned two years old. Before, he had no proper name. His mother named him these two names as he spent most of his time outdoors -- not knowing it was mainly to get away from her.

Twelve years ago in June.

Current Age:
Twelve years old.

Basic Appearance
Silus Hollister has steely blue eyes, chiseled cheeks, and straight dark brown hair. He's a fair looking child with a somewhat more mature face -- doesn't get his looks from his mother. Silus isn't vain, but he always combs his hair and dresses smart.

Personality:
Silus is very introverted and anti-social.
The only people he's ever been around were lowly, and have only tried --or have-- to cause him great harm. He and his mother are quite poor and live with hostile conditions. He has learned to be very resourceful and has had to be cunning sine he deals with shrewd people. One virtue about Sius is that he is very patient and makes choices carefully. Silus enjoys the company of cats. He loathes dogs since one bit him on his leg when he was seven. He does not rage whenever he's angry unless it's been pent up. Usually he keeps his cool. He has been known to behave rudely towards other people unless he wants something badly.

Family
Silus only has his mother. She is shunned in her own family, and he's never met or heard of any of relatives. Her first name is Ellen and her maiden name was O'daire -- a very wealthy family of purebloods. His birth father was a very handsome muggle who shacked up with her and this resulted in Silus. While Ellen claims they married and he had left due to his finding out, the truth is he left for the next woman since she was shunned for being with a muggle, and had no money. Ellen has a photo of Silus's birth father in her chest. Silus has never seen it.

Pets:
Silus has none officially, but he befriends the homeless cats near his apartment

Area of Residence:
A run down two room muggle apartment in the bad place in town.


Blood Status:
He claims to be a pureblood since he's ashamed of his true status, half-blood.

Heritage:
Little is known to him. All he knows is his mother used to be apart of a respected wizarding family.

Special Abilities:
He still has yet to learn some, but he's quite clever and schemes a lot. He used to pick pocket when he was younger. Other than that he can see and hear in the dark very well -- he's got great sight and hearing.

Interests or Hobbies:
He is mainly interested in escaping his current situation and getting away from his mother. The two do not get along well -- she treats him terribly and blames him for her current living. His hobbies include exploring the outdoors and studying people.

Additional Skills:
He's accurate with a slingshot as he enjoys shooting down birds and squirrels in the park.

Strengths:
He listens well, is very clever, caluculates everything carefully, enjoys gaining expertise in subjects he finds useful. He's also patient.

Weaknesses
He's introverted. A bit cruel towards lower life forms. Prejudice and very selfish. He lives for himself.
