In early 2044, they found out they were pregnant with the twins. Their mother went into labor during a visit to her family in Windsor, England. Silas was born at 11:58 p.m. on August 31st, 4 minutes and 27 seconds ahead of his sister. Through his father, he is a descendant of the Broomhead Dynasty, disgraced former broom manufacturers who went out of business when a team of all Broomhead brooms lost control during the Quidditch World Cup in 1869 and flew out of the pitch, forfeiting the cup in disgrace. While it has been almost two centuries since the incident, the Broomhead family still looks at the event as a significant impact on their lives today, as many older wizards are still aware and judge their last name.
