Despite all the trouble Orwell had gotten into over the years, he was still confident enough to approach the staff table, and thankfully it wasn't like he was giving a rose to professor styx, though he had thought about sending one, "Professor Pendleton?" he walked towards the potions professor with a bright smile, adjusting the flower crown a little as he approached the man, stopping in front of him, ready to hand him the flower.

Monty looked up from the table, startled to hear his own name being spoken by Orwell. It was flower delivery day, but not expecting to receive any himself he was momentarily perplexed by the boy's arrival. "Hello," he said, smiling. Then his eyes lighted on the rose in Orwell's hand. Even so, he couldn't quite figure out what he was doing bringing it over to him.

Orwell smiled at the professor and handed the yellow rose to the professor and then found the note that went along with it, "Rose delivery!" he told him happily, the joy on the king of flowers face could not be wiped off, this day and doing this was just bringing him so much joy, he definitely thought this was the best thing to do, spreading all the love and joy and flowers.
Monty,

I like to think you are the potion ingredient everyone needs.

Best wishes,
Jonathon Phillips.

Monty blushed; he had not sent any roses himself for fear of embarrassment, but he had not counted on receiving any himself. "Thank you!" he said kindly, taking the rose and the note and opening the latter up to read. The Potions Professor covered his mouth to laugh, the message being ridiculous and wonderful all at once. Now he really regretted not having sent any out himself! Still, there was always a next year. "Thank you, Orwell - and might I say that is a beautiful crown you're sporting. Happy Valentines."

The teen smiled easily at the thanks, enjoying watching the man's face as he read the note and lighting up easily as the man laughed. He was so happy that this was a good note, and he felt so over the moon with joy that he was able to share all the love, "Thank you professor, if you ever want one, we have plenty in the wild patch," he informed him, before laughing lightly at the second statement, "Professor, Valentines day is capitalist holiday, it's sole purpose is to sell products and push the capitalist agenda. These flowers are just to show love and friendship not push valentines day,"

Professor Pendleton smiled, thanking the Ravenclaw once more - thought really it ought to have been Jon he was thanking. Resolving to do so just as soon as he got the chance, Monty looked away, not expecting Orwell to continue on. The Professor stared, somewhat speechless. Actually, he privately agreed. "Er... yes! Well, have a lovely day regardless, Orwell," he said, with a warm smile.

Orwell nodded at the man, "You too professor!" he waved at the man as he began walking away with more roses to give to people, and his excitement about the day just growing. This was the best thing, he really had to thank Kylie for having put something like this together, it was just so much fun.
