The rose deliveries came up quickly again, but Daisy was super excited. There were so many to deliver, so she got started as soon as she could, having run down to the Great Hall without putting her shoes on. That was a usual occurrence for the Sixth Year, but she could honestly say that today she had completely forgotten. It was a miracle for everyone she even remembered to get dressed.
Daisy was lucky that she was able to deliver so many roses in the same room, it definitely made her job easier seeing as she had so many (!!) roses to deliver. Skipping up to the Staff Table, she quickly found Professor Carter. Giving roses to Professors was almost more fun than giving it to students, but it definitely would've been a ton more fun if it were a red rose. Holding out a yellow rose, Daisy cleared her throat to get the Professor's attention.

Landon had always really liked Valentine's Day. He hadn't liked it so much this time last year, but now that this year he had a Valentine's and found himself in a happier state, he enjoyed watching other people getting roses as he sat at the Staff table during breakfast, smiling around at all of the happy faces whilst sipping his pumpkin juice. As an older Gryffindor student walked up to him and cleared her throat, Landon looked over to her, his eyes widening at the yellow rose she was holding out for him. "Oh, is that for me?" he asked hesitantly before slowly taking it from her. He hadn't expected to get any roses and so it was a pleasant surprise.

As the Professor asked his question, Daisy nodded her head. "It sure is sir! Aren't you a lucky one!" She responded before finding the note that had fallen off in her basket, and handing it over. "Have you got lots already?"

Note said:
Happy Valentines Day!!
Irene

Landon took the rose from the girl. "Thank you." he said warmly, reading the note she also handed him. It was from Irene and suddenly Landon felt bad for not sending one back to her. He would have to make up for it some other way. "No, this is probably my only one." Landon said, answering the Gryffindor's question. "What about you? Did you get any?"

Daisy grinned in response to the Professor's thanks, her mouth dropping slightly in shock when he said it was probably his only one. "Don't be silly, it's only the beginning of the day! You'll get more." Before shaking her head at his question. "Nah nothing here yet, but like I said, it's only the beginning of the day." Daisy grinned, not always fully understanding the boundary line between Professors and friends. Professors could be friends right? Her mother had once told her to stop being so familiar with authority figures, and that they deserved more respect than she often gave, but she figured treating someone as her friend as respect! Daisy sent a wink his way before starting to leave. "Bye Sir! Have a lovely day!" She said, giggling at her pun.

Landon admired how positive the Gryffindor was. It wasn't often that he saw students as energetic as her, especially in the older years, and he smiled at her reassurance. He didn't have many friends amongst his co-workers and was happy only getting the one if so be. "You're right." he replied with a nod. "I'm sure you'll get one too!" As the girl turned around to leave, he chuckled at her pun and gave her a small wave. "You too." he said with a smile.
