Knox’s second rose delivery was to someone who’s name he actually did recognize. It was a girl in his year who he shared classes with, and who was in Ravenclaw house if he remembered right, so he soon headed into the great hall and to the Ravenclaw table. With the crowds of students he couldn’t spot Minnie immediately, so he resorted to calling out her name, her yellow rose in his hand. “Rose for Minnie Calida!!” He called out, looking around the table for a response.

Minnie's head shot up when someone said that there was a rose for her. She had sent a couple, not many but a few and she definitely didn't expect any in return. Indeed she had more expected Eric to come and throw the rose back at her, but that hadn't happened either. She raised her hand tentatively, "I'm Minnie," she said hoping it was loud enough to get the boy to notice her.

Knox soon saw someone raised their hand and approached them, smiling when he realised it was Minnie and another one of his deliveries was about to be completed. “Minnie! Here’s your rose!” Knox said excitedly as he offered her the yellow rose, making sure to offer the note to her as well.

yellow rose said:
If you want it, go and get it.

Leda had been sat at the Slytherin table when the deliveries were taking place, although there had been one in particular she was nervous for. She’d wanted to enclose something else with her rose when she sent it, but they hadn’t been given little envelopes with their notes, so she had no choice but to give Minnie the gift in person. When Olive had found out Leda had joined the team five years ago, her sister had given her the tiny snitch necklace that Leda now wore during her games. While it would have sentimental value to her as something from Olive, it wasn’t the only thing that she’d been given in the last few years from her, and after speaking to Minnie in the hospital wing she known what she had to do. It was obvious Blake was going to take her place on the Slytherin team when she left, but Minnie hadn’t been sure. Leda hadn’t wanted to delve too deep into the reason why, more aware since September of how she spoke to people, but regardless of whether or not Minnie continued on the team, the Head Girl had hoped that the rose and its note would serve as motivation that if the Ravenclaw wasn’t sure about something, then maybe she would choose to do something because it was ultimately what she wanted to do.

With the necklace in one hand, Leda left her place at the table when she spotted the rose being delivered to the Seeker. She couldn’t be sure from here that it was hers, although the note didn’t seem too long and she knew her note was short. Leda didn’t have any need for the necklace now, it would just be something she would end up hiding away, feeling guilty all over again at the relationship she’d ended up having with her. Doing this though felt right, as though passing on the Quidditch baton if nothing else. Leda had never had any younger siblings, and really she didn’t know Minnie that well either, but there still wasn’t anyone else she would have preferred to give it to. Standing by the third year, Leda silently opened her hand out and let the chain and the tiny golden ball slide off her palm, onto the table beside her note. Maybe Minnie did leave the team, but it wasn’t just about that. Leda just hoped she could see it as a source of strength for her decisions.

Minnie opened the note and read what was inside. She was a little confused about who it was from, but as she glanced back up at the boy who'd delivered it, it became a little clearer to her. Was this from Leda? "Thanks Knox, welcome back by the way," Minnie said with a little smile. She would continue to think about the rose and the note that she got. However, as she was thinking about it, exactly who she thought the rose and note was from. She smiled a little but just watched as the girl dropped a little charm on the table next to the note. She looked at it and couldn't help but smile a little. It was a nice charm, but why didn't see what to keep it. She held it in her hand before slipping it on. She stood up and just wrapped her arms around her quickly. "Thank you," Minnie said quietly.

Leda was unsure whether her intended message would come across, but weren’t Ravenclaws meant to be smart? She watched as Minnie put the necklace on, a small smile appearing on her face as she accepted it. Leda wasn’t usually one for physical affection, and it was only when Minnie turned to hug her that she realised she couldn’t remember the last time she’d hugged anyone. “Seekers, after all, are the best at finding what’s most important to them,” she replied, giving her a light and slightly awkward little pat on the pat on the back with one hand. Leda had just one more game, albeit a vital one as it would determine who won the cup again this year, but once that was over, she would be leaving Quidditch behind. Figuring Minnie probably had things she needed to do rather than be too distracted by a seventh year, she gave the Ravenclaw another reassuring smile before leaving her to it, and headed out of the Great Hall instead of returning to her own table. With a heart twice as heavy as it usually was at the moment, she wanted to go and distract herself too, and there were plenty of other things that needed her attention.
