Quidditch Game: Ravenclaw vs Hufflepuff

[Tilly Drage]

Tilly was shocked when her second bludger of the game hit the Ravenclaw seeker, again. She couldn't help cheering. Then, she pulled back, moving to protect Lucas and her other teammates. @Hamish Reid

 

[Sawyer Carnahan]

Sawyer had feared this sort of thing was going to happen, letting out a hiss when Hamish took another bludger again. "Tilly, I thought were were friends," he called to her, eyes on Hamish to make sure he was still on his broom.

 

[Rene Tofilau]

René boggled as Tilly moved fast enough to hit Hamish Reid a second time in a row. Man, if he could play like her... Adjusting his grip on his bat, René turned to chase after the other bludger, determined to try and get a hit in too soon.

 

[Linden Cullen]

another noise from the crowd alerted linden to the fact that Tilly had made a second hit in a very short space of time. he gave a moment thought that he was glad he wasn't the Ravenclaw seeker. before he turned his attention back to the incoming chasers.

 

[Tilly Drage]

Tilly cracked a bludger away from the Hufflepuff chasers. Now that she was a co-captain, she needed to be extra vigilant about keeping her teammates safe.

 

[Sawyer Carnahan]

Sawyer was still feeling uneasy about how the game was going but it was still early, they could still easily turn this around.

 

[Rene Tofilau]

Tilly had moved onto the defensive and René tried to cover by taking another hard swing at a passing bludger. It wasn't fast enough to hit the Ravenclaw seeker though and he grimaced in the bright sunlight, wiping at his forehead.

 

[Linden Cullen]

Linden continued to keep an eye out for chasers and waffles

 

[Hamish Reid]

Hamish had barely gotten into the air before he had been hit- twice. He hovered a moment, trying to catch his breath, before doing his best to search for the snitch.

 

[Tilly Drage]

Tilly protected her teammates. She knew she would find another opening soon. Or perhaps Rene would take out Hamish. As bludgeoned as he was, they weren't out of the woods yet- she remembered how the seeker had caught the snitch last year and ended their chance at the Cup.

 

[Sawyer Carnahan]

Sawyer let out a relieved breath when it seemed like Hamish was still moving, though he knew the kid had to be in a lot of pain right now.

 

[Rene Tofilau]

With Tilly on defense, René felt more confident focusing solely on hitting the Ravenclaw seeker. It didn't take long to corner him and send a bludger straight towards him. René did feel a moment of sympathy as it collided, getting hit three times in a row like that had to hurt, but he was more focused on checking to see if Tilly had noticed. @Hamish Reid

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

Reeve called a time out. He watched the Ravenclaw Seeker closely, making sure a nurse was ready to receive him. Three bludger hits in such quick succession had to have left a mark. Touching down on the ground, Reeve waited for the Ravenclaw captain to announce who was coming in to the game.

Out of Character:

Time out.
Ravenclaw must bring in someone to replace the Seeker.

 

[Sawyer Carnahan]

Sawyer swore again, bringing his broom away from the hoops as Hamish was escorted down the ground and off the pitch. "Sefina Drage will be subbed in," he said, scrubbing a hand over his hair. Maybe at least Tilly would think twice about taking out her own sister?

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

Reeve nodded his head, made the mark on his parchment, and then began to fly back into the air. "Game on!" he declared.

Out of Character:

It was more than 4 hours between when the last chaser made an attempt to score and the Ravenclaw Seeker took his third bludger hit. The quaffle is fair game to chasers from either team.

 

[Lucas Fletcher]

Lucas was honestly glad Tilly was on his team and not on the opposite one, she was a machine. He watched with a grimace as the Ravenclaw seeker was taken off the pitch, feeling sympathetic. But he knew this would be good for them. Lucas shot into the air once the game started again, looking around. To his shock, he spotted a golden glint on his left side almost immediately. Lucas shot to the left, hand outstretched. Before he knew what was happening, Lucas managed to grab the snitch. He grinned and held it up proudly.

 

[Sawyer Carnahan]

Sawyer barely had enough time to get back to his spot at the hoops after Sefina got in the air before he was already hearing the crowd noise swell. He almost couldn't bare to look, knowing the chances that Sefina had pulled something amazing and snagged the snitch immediately were so slim but his heart still sank to see Lucas there holding up the snitch. Sighing, Sawyer ran a sweaty palm down his face before flying to touch down with the rest of the team. "Uh, good game, guys," he said, though his heart wasn't really in it.

 

[Leonardo Orr]

Leonardo was very surprised as play got started back, he was glancing towards the seeker who had somehow managed to catch the snitch. He was glad they'd won but feeling a little sad about the fact he hadn't done much for it.

 

[Rene Tofilau]

René grinned at Tilly as Hamish was taken off the field, though he did double take when he realized who exactly was taking his place. He hesitated as the game resumed, not sure if he should wait for Tilly to take a crack at hitting her own sister first. It turned out it didn't really matter though, as the next moment, Lucas was shooting across the pitch, pulling up with the snitch in his hand. René let out an excited shout, joining the rest of the team as the stands erupted into cheers.

 

[Reeve Buchanan]

Quidditch didn't shock Reeve often, but he was shocked at how quickly the game ended after he'd just restarted it. "Hufflepuff wins!" He announced to the already cheering crowd.

 

[Linden Cullen]

Linden took the time out as the Ravenclaw seeker was taken for medical care and a new one took his place he was glad to be on the same team as tilly. He watched to see who would take the quaffle and was supprised when a a cheer rose from then crowd before anyone could do anything. Surly not yet. He looked and it was Lucas had got the snitch.
If this was last year he would have flown towards the boy to congratulate him but it wasn’t last year. Instead he just cheered as he sank to the ground. Pleased that they had won even if he was slightly disappointed that the match has been so quick he had done nothing.
