Elara gritted her teeth through the pain as Zay apologized, looking away from him only to see something appear out of the sky. Was it a bird? Was it a plane? No, because she wasn't a DC character. But it was finally the snitch! She didn't even try to look back towards the Ravenclaw seeker before zooming towards it, flying under a few other players before it lowered quickly, reaching out her arm that hadn't been hit as she held tightly with her broom to the other, only to finally grasp her hand around that stupid gold ball. Elara held it up quickly. "I got it, I got it, I got it!" she yelled, making sure Reeve saw her before heading to the ground. It felt kind of like a fever dream as she looked around, her teammates and the houses, well some of them, cheering. Eventually, she saw Zay again and quickly wrapped her arms around him giving him a big kiss on the mouth in front of everyone. "I'm sorry for being mad. I should have known your hit must have been good luck or something," she said laughing. Her shoulder definitely hurt, but she was fine. And they had won.
