Open Pumpkins All the Way Down

Carrying three pumpkins up to the north tower hadn't been easy, but now that Phoebe stood at the top with them she hoped it would be worth it. It had been way too long since she had done any sort of experiment, and she was starting to realize her time at Hogwarts was limited. She still wanted to explore the forest and the lake more, but right now she wanted to do something else. Phoebe liked exploring the limits of magic, and the name of the 'unbreakable charm' alone just begged for her to test just how unbreakable things were. That's where the pumpkins came in. Phoebe had sped up their growth with the Sementis Medicates charm, and had then placed the unbreakable charm on them. Now she was going to test if that charm held up, and for that she would need to throw the pumpkins down the stairs of the north tower to see if they would break. She had picked a quiet time, as most people would be at lunch right now. But that still didn't mean there wasn't anyone around. So before she threw the first one down the stairs, Phoebe leaned over the railing as far as she dared and shouted down. "Take cover! Danger of flying pumpkins!" She shouted, then counted down from five to zero. That was plenty of warning as far as she was concerned. She chucked the first one down the stairs and leaned forward again to see where it would end up, and more importantly, if it would break.
