Liam was feeling good. They would play against Gryffindor and had a chance to win the housecup. They won last year and he wanted the team to be ready to do it again. Time was going fast and he would leave the school soonish. Liam wanted to leave a good impression. He had been doubting about his future, it was hard to choose something. He just hoped to be succesfull and popular. There was still time to think about it. But now it was time for a practice and the boy made his way to the pitch. And brought along the neccesary items for a practice and put them down on the ground. With his broom in his hand he waited for the team to join him. His beaters bat was also ready on the ground to be used. When the team was there and he spotted Leda he started of with a charming smile. '' Hey team. Welcome to another practice.'' He than started of and looked around at the different faces. Smiling a bit too long to some ladies. Than he focused again and continued. '' So we need to practice for the game against Gryffindor. Give it all you got. I know we can win the cup.. We are Slytherin!'' He than said excited. Liam was curious if the battle between Leda and Blake would continue in this practice. Leda and he would leave the team next year, so he needed to make sure Slytherin was left in good hands.

He than looked at the different players and continued. '' You all know what you have to do. I expect everyone will do the best they can.'' He than said. If people were fooling around they would hear it. Liam was there to win it. He than looked at Leda for a moment to see if she wanted to add something to it. '' Mordred cover the North Hoops. Beaters hit but also protect, we don't want a trip to the hospital wing. Chasers score but give Mordred also a chance to prepare again. Seekers go for it and find that golden snitch!'' Liam than said a bit louder and put his hand into the air. '' Let's go!'' And he released the snitch, bludgers and threw the quaffle in the air. He than kicked off in the air himself with his beaters bat.

OOCOut of Character:
- Practice will be open for two weeks!
- I opened the practice directly, so we can make the best we can out of it!
- Please do your arrivals and kick off in the air
- First Chaser to post can catch the quaffle

Leda had mixed feelings about this practise. On the one hand it was bittersweet; the very last one she would have before their very last game. She was trying not to think about her final game too much. If Gryffindor beat them and Leda graduated without catching that snitch that it wouldn't be quite as satisfying as ending on a high. That being said, Leda thought she'd come so far since she'd started on the team in her third year, that she was excited to see what would come next with the group. Heading out onto the pitch with Liam, someone that she hadn't always seen eye to eye to, but really he wasn't as terrible as she'd first thought, she was happy to let him lead. The last few weeks had been strange for her and the blonde found herself more quiet than ever as she replayed moments in her head, as though stuck in a loop. "If we win the match against Gryffindor, Slytherin will be on a three year streak," she added, hoping it would motivate them to try as hard as they could. "Don't let them ruin what we've worked for. We have always been the strongest house team, no need to start letting the others get ahead now," she said with a nod to Liam, before heading off into the air to begin the search for the golden snitch.

Quidditch. Yes. After all the drama before the holidays, this was what Blake needed to clear his head. He hadn't been able to stop running the fight with Tyler over and over in his head, and reliving both that and the embarrassment at the Yule Ball had his stomach all tied up in knots. Quidditch was what he needed now. It was what he was best at, and it would be refreshing to return to it, to remind people how great he was, to do something right and start moving forward. He listened as the captains spoke before kicking off into the air, flying out around the pitch and beginning the search for the golden snitch.

It was early days and even though Leda had half her attention on searching for the snitch, the other half was making sure that the rest of the team actually got up into the air. She watched Blake join them, hoping to see him catch the snitch at some point too if he was to take over her role next year.

Jasper was excited for practice as usual. He headed to the pitch eagerly with his broom. He listened to Liam as he told them they were going to prepare for the game against Gryffindor. He then gave some instructions, telling them to score at the north hoops which Mordred would be guarding. Jasper listened to Leda too as she spoke as well, excited to get started. When the practice officially began, he took to the air and managed to grab the quaffle. He grinned, zooming off to the north hoops Mordred was guarding.

Circling the pitch, Blake enjoyed the wind rushing through his hair as he looked around for the snitch, enjoying the calm. At least this made sense to him, even if nothing else in his life did right now.

Liam flew into the air and looked around for some bludgers. He saw Jasper getting the quaffle first and was curious if the boy could have a go and score. Both having a good keeper and chaser was important to have.

Jasper flew up to the hoops and threw the quaffle. He grinned as he managed to score, turning around in the air. "WOO!" He yelled, hoping the captains had seen that.

Sapphire was ready to get back on the field. She sauntered onto the pitch, listening to both captains speak. She nodded, taking off in the air with the others and shooting after a bludger.

Liam noticed a yell and indeed Jasper managed to score. Liam gave the younger boy a thumbs up and was glad to see him doing well in his first attempt. He flew further to the other side of the pitch, he had no luck yet.

Sapphire paused as she heard a yell, smiling over at Jasper before returning to her chase.

Leda was glad to see that one of the Chasers had already managed to score, and the practise was certainly now in full swing. She kept concentrating on her end goal though, that this practise it wasn't raining.

Jai was a little late but had managed to get there before practice started all the same. He followed Jasper and grinned when his teammate managed to score. The quaffle was quickly put back into play and Jai caught it, before circling around the pitch. Maybe he'd actually score again this practice.

Practice had barely begun when Jasper had scored the first goal of the session, it was certainly a good start to proceedings. Once the quaffle was thrown back into play Jai caught it and began his way to the other hoops so Luna followed him.

Once the game was taking off by itself, Leda turned her attention back to her own task. She took a moment not to look around the pitch, but to stare at one particular spot in the distance and watch her peripheral vision for movements. Sure enough, to her left a little way down, she spotted the snitch fluttering around. Immediately the Head Girl darted after it, not letting it get a chance to get away from her. She chased it for a few minutes, following heavily on its tail and gradually speeding up to overtake its speed. She put out her hand and wrapped her fingers around the tiny ball, just in time to look up to realise she was headed straight for one of the sets of stairs around the edge of the pitch. She managed to break heavily and turn towards the right, although it didn’t stop her thumping into the wooden stands. She was still a good 40 feet from the ground, and with her concentration broken she began to fall through the air. With her grip on the snitch in one hand and her broom still gripped in her other, she began to panic as the floor was coming swiftly closer to her. No, she couldn’t come this far just to falter now. With big breaths, the Slytherin concentrated as much as she could, trying to stabilise herself before she hit the floor. Even though after a few seconds her body found the gravel below, she’d managed to at least break her speed to the point that she didn’t even fall when her feet made contact. With a sigh of relief she stood up straight and looked towards the others players, trying to slow her heart rate. “Got it,” of course they wouldn’t be able to hear her, but she held up the snitch just to prove it before letting go once more.

Rule 2a

Luna took the chance to take the quaffle out of Jai's hands, there were no friends in practice after all and made her way toward the hoops where she managed to throw the quaffle through to score.

Liam was still on his way when he heard Leda. She had managed to get the snitch already! He smiled bright since that was really positive. He gave her a thumbs up and hoped Blake would get it as well to keep the competition up.

Jasper cheered for Leda when she grabbed the snitch, looking around to see if Blake had noticed he'd been beaten. But then he noticed Luna grabbed the quaffle, and he flew over to try to steal it from her. But she scored, and Jasper grabbed the quaffle after it was thrown back into play.

Searching the pitch for the snitch, Blake caught sight out of the corner of his eye of Leda diving. She must have seen it! Flattening himself to his broom he shot towards her, but he was much too far on the other side of the pitch to put up any kind of chase, and he still wasn't anywhere near her when she caught the snitch. Ugh. She had just gotten lucky, obviously he needed to work harder. Pulling his broom away, he turned and went looking for the snitch again once she had released it.

Luna saw that Leda caught the snitch but no one seemed to to notice that she had almost fallen. "You ok Leda?" She called over. Once she had checked on Leda she was back after the quaffle, once again she managed to steal it from Jasper (Rule 2a) and made her way toward the hoop but this time she wasn't able to score.

After watching the snitch fly off, she remounted her broom and kicked off back into the air with a nod to Luna, “I think so,” she said. Maybe she’d have a bruise but it could be a lot worse if she wasn’t concentrating. “Thanks,” she added, watching her teammate fly off and score another goal for them. Luna had been with them for while a while and was starting to show herself to be quite a strong Chaser. With a glance to Blake, she restarted her search.

With no one else seeming to want the quaffle Luna went for it once it was back in play. She turned and dashed towards the other hoops and managed to score. Practice was going well so far.

Jasper scowled in frustration when Luna stole the quaffle from him, following her to the hoops and trying to steal the quaffle back. After she failed to score, Jasper tried to get the quaffle but she hogged it and immediately attempted to score again. "Hey!" He yelled, grabbing it quickly. "Stop hogging it!" He then quickly flew off to do half a lap before attempting to score again.

Luna laughed to herself as Jasper accused her of hogging the quaffle. "Snooze you lose Jasper,"

Leda was happy enough to see Luna steal the Quaffle every once in a while if the others weren't actually trying to score. She continued around the pitch looking for the snitch again.
