Knowing that she wanted to join the Slytherin Quidditch team at some point, Paige needed to train a bit first and improve her skills as a Beater now that she barely got around to fly anymore. She arrived at the pitch with her broom under her arm, hoping that there would still be some practice equipment laying around, as she had forgotten her own stuff back home. She had asked Leda if she wanted to come too and help out and give her some tips and tricks she could use if she would ever make the team. Paige did not care about her grades that much anymore, lessons were pretty easy anyway so there was nothing to worry about. No, her mind was fixed on Quidditch and making it on the team next year. Mounting the broom, the Slytherin kicked herself off the ground to fly a couple of laps before the co-captain would arrive.

One thing that made it easier for Leda to keep her mind off of Olive, was to involve herself heavily with school activities. Of course this was helped by the fact she help to run a couple of things, one being Quidditch for Slytherin, and since she had no intention of continuing the sport once she'd graduated, she'd felt no guilt in agreeing to help one of the second years with their flying. In her mind, she'd done what she set out to do. When Leda joined the team in her third year it was to follow in her sisters footsteps, and she'd done that and done it well. She had to move on to other things once she left Hogwarts at the end of the year, and while she was motivated to win the cup once more before they did leave, she still felt satisfied with how far she'd come. Leda looked out across the pitch, to see a young girl that she vaguely recognised from try outs the previous year. She'd not made the team at that point, but it wasn't like she didn't have plenty of time ahead of her to try, and if she could improve her skills then she would only better her chances. Mounting her broom, she kicked off and joined her in the sky, hovering in the air for a moment, "Paige?" she asked, holding one hand up to stop the sun from blinding her. She knew Paige wanted the role of Beater, but Leda didn't want her to delve straight into trying to avoid a bludger, so it was the Quaffle that she had tucked under one arm for the time being.

Coming to a halt when Leda joined her in the air, the Slytherin smiled at the older girl. ''Hey! Thank you for coming,'' she told her. Leda had been on the team for quite some time from what she could gather so hopefully training with her would make Paige better and give her a better chance of making the team once she'd try out for it again next year. She hadn't participated this year because she didn't think that she was ready to try out again and didn't want to be disappointed in herself once more. Looking at the Quaffle tucked under her arm, Paige frowned. ''Are we not going to practice my Beater skills?'' she asked, gesturing to the ball in the captain's arm. She hoped that they would practice that particular skill some more, as she was already a good flyer and definitely good with a bat.
