Studying for her OWL had Noemie in quite a fit. She was studying as hard as she could, but Noemie was finding it difficult to concentrate. She was doing practice tests and quizzes and she could never seem to do better than an EE. She wanted Os for her OWLs, she had been working hard for months for them, using every spare moment she had to be with books. She had cut down on her quidditch, cut down on her running, cut down on her personal reading. She had just been studying and studying and it just wasn't paying off. She could help but feel so tired and frustrated. The morning of the sunday of the sixth week of class, found Noemie sitting in her dorm room with another book open in front of her, and the light of the sun pouring into through the window. The teen stared out of the window, and her mind drifting off from what she'd been studying to the outdoors. She snapped out of it when an owl passed the window. She decided that she would go outside. If she was going to study anyway, she might as well spent time outside in the gardens.
After packing up her books, notes and her wand, Noemie took a blanket and went outside. She set out the blanket on the grass at the lake front, where she could then set out her work, and her notes. She had her quills and notes, and began to study. The ravenclaw was happy to be outside, the sunshine was nice. It was approaching winter, but it was still warm enough, it was nice enough, and though she was still stressed it was nice. Noemie was hoping that maybe the change of scenery would help her with her studying. She worked hard, and she just wanted it to pay off. The part veela just wanted to something to show for all the work she did. The girl was a little more distracted by being outside but Noemie wasn't having luck elsewhere so what did it matter. She just had to keep at it.
