Conan had been really tired as of late. It was already late of October and it was already starting to get cold in Japan and how much he wished that he was currently in his home country. After all, the place he was currently in seemed to have harsher weather conditions these days as it approached the Yuletide season. He didn't even have much time to think about Christmas these days. Between his own work, Taylor's return to her Quidditch career, their little son and his planning for their wedding, he had been a very busy man. He was serious about everything going on about his life now and he had all too soon realized that playing around was not an option anymore. And so, since he and Taylor had already been engaged for a few years, he had begun planning their wedding in absolute secrecy from her. But then, he needed more money and so he had also started going on business trips every once in a while, and that's how he found himself in his current situation. Walking down the cold streets in South Korea.

The business meeting had gone awfully well. It had been more of a seminar than anything, which Conan doubted he needed considering he grew up with muggles and were friends with some of them. Nevertheless, it had been both an educational and entertaining seminar that caused him to gain quite some attention. But then again, that meeting was over so now, he had different matters to attend to. More of personal matters. It was no secret that the former Hufflepuff went to South Korea every once in a while to visit a friend of his, Raziel Kim. Though it was quite a mystery to him as to why the former Ravenclaw absolutely refused to answer the door sometimes. Conan would know since he could sometimes hear rustling inside but nobody would ever open it. Hopefully, today someone would seeing as he wasn't quite exactly fond of staying outside during the cold weather. Reaching the apartment that he knew would be where his friend lived, he knocked on the door with force enough to be heard from the inside. "Raziel, open up! It's Conan! It's freezing!" he called out. He needed to talk to his friend and he didn't want to be left outside in the cold. Hopefully, he wouldn't take long to answer the door

Living without the use of magic had been quite the adjustment, but the young man had been willing to make it. His wand was buried somewhere deep within his room, and only ever touched when he planned to leave to head to the magical world. He still held his certain prejudices, but Raziel's family had been good to him, and so he did well by them in return - although, whilst he had learnt their language, he was not in the habit of conversing with anyone that was not them. And so, he was in a dilemma he had found himself in regularly - someone knocking on the door, and he the only one in the position to open it. The man, judging by the voice, was being ridiculously rude, banging on the door in such a way. The Italian-born man had not been planning to open the door to begin with - but now after that display, the as-yet-to-be-named man could freeze to death on the steps for all he cared.

Conan. The name did ring a bell, but not good ones. That overly loud man that dropped by sometimes, filling the house with more chatter that it really didn't need, what with the talking Raziel's sister's brought with them. The temperature wasn't that bad, anyway. He would be fine. Dante pulled open the wooden door, but took no steps to open the screen door to allow Conan inside. "Leave," he said simply. His English was questionable, at best, but he had the general idea down of what the man wanted. Raziel was resting, and that was how it was going to stay if Dante had anything to say about it. With a final glare, he slammed the door shut on the man's face, and went about his day.
