Alexei was on his second to last delivery for the day and then he would be all done. Most of his deliveries occurred in the great hall, and the rest he was asking around for the person's whereabouts or he might have known the person on the list. It was the latter with this one, @Jacinta Ingo is a first year like Alexei. He went out into the courtyard to see if Jacinta was around, calling out the girl's name to get her attention.

@Jacinta Ingo

Jacinta was getting some fresh air, since the castle seemed to be buzzing more than usual, when she heard someone call her name."Yes?" she asked, looking towards the boy. He seemed to be another first year like her, but she didn't think she knew him.

"Hey!" Alexei ran over with the basket of roses. He set it down and pulled out a yellow petal flower. "Here you go, Happy Valentine's Day!" the boy exclaimed happily. "And you have a note too," after handing her the rose he went looking for inside the basket. There wasn't a lot of roses left, though there were a lot of leaves and some petals that fell out during his deliveries.

Jacinta took the flower from the boy."Thank you," she muttered. This must be why the castle was buzzing with excitement. They were giving flowers to people. She waited for the note that came with the flower, wondering who sent it to her.

Alexei found the note under a few loose petals, leaves and even a stem. "You're welcome," the boy handed over the note. Alexei didn't personally know the girl, but he hopes that the rose cheered her up somehow. Not that many roses were given to first years, which he felt bad about since he didn't give one to Ana. There was always next year, next year he will try to remember his sister.

For the coolest roommate ever
-Nicole

Jacinta grinned when she read the note. It was great having close friends as her roommates, especially when they all agreed on things. She hoped that she remembered to thank Nicole for the rose, since it was such a nice gesture.
