Meadow Iris Heart

MEANING:
Meadow: From the English word meadow, ultimately from Old English mædwe.

Iris: Means "rainbow" in Greek. Iris was the name of the Greek goddess of the rainbow, also serving as a messenger to the gods. This name can also be given in reference to the word (which derives from the same Greek source) for the iris flower or the colored part of the eye.

Heart: The surname derives from the Olde English pre 7th Century "heorot", Middle English "hert", stag, male deer, and would have been given to a swift mover.

WHY:
An old friend of her moms was named Meadow. She loved that name when she was younger and decided to name her daughter after her.

NICKNAMES:
Meadow, doesn't have any nicknames yet. Her parents do call her Iris sometimes.

AGE:
Meadow is eleven years old.

D.O.B.:
Meadow was born on the 22nd of March in the year 2035. It was a long birthing process for Meadow her mother and she was released out of the hospital after two days.

PROFESSION:
Meadow is a primary school student.

FATHER:

David Heart is Meadow her dad. David is a half-blood wizard that currently works for the Ministry as an Obliviator. He is attended Hogwarts Scotland and was sorted in the house of Helga Hufflepuff. When he was done with his school he traveled around to world were he met his wife Eleanor.

MOTHER:

Eleanor Heart-Winter is Meadow her mother. Eleanor is a half-blood witch that currently works as a primary school teacher. She was home schooled by her parents.

SIBLING(S):
Meadow has one younger sister named June. She is two years younger than she is. June is sad that Meadow will be away all the time to spend time at Hogwarts. June and Meadow have a good relationship and they love to play with each other.

PET(S):

Puck is the house owl which is used to send letters to friends and family. When Meadow goes to Hogwarts she wants a pet of herself, she doesn't know what she wants yet. She wished you could bring a dog to Hogwarts, but heard that wasn't allowed.

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS:
Meadow doesn't care about blood status, she just is what she is. Her parents raised her to be kind to everyone and everything.

HOMETOWN:
Christchurch, New-Zealand. They live in the outer parts of the city.

CURRENT RESIDENCE:
The Heart Family lives in an old refurbished farm house. The house has been in the family as long as Meadow knows. They don't have any animals, but there are some stray cats here and there.

THE PLACE TO LIVE:
When Meadow is older she wants to travel the world like her dad has done. She wants to see more of what the world has to offer. In the end she wants to settle back down close to her family. She doesn't care about what kind of house she is going to live in. Friends and Family are more important than materialistic things.

HAIR COLOUR:
Meadow has light brown hair, but in the sun it has a reddish undertone.

HAIR HAS BEEN DYE
Her parents don't allow her to dye her hair yet. She wants it lighter, but her parents say she can dye her hair when she is older.

EYE COLOUR:
Meadow has brownish/green eyes. It has more brown than green though. Meadow loves her eye color since not many people have the color green.

BIRTHMARKS:
Meadow has some spots on her body her and there. They aren't big and are just tiny specks.

BODY TYPE:
Meadow is of a normal build, but if she doesn't watch out for what she eats she does gain weight. She watches what she eats, but isn't too strict with it. She also loves a good piece of custard pie once in a while.

BLOOD TYPE:
Meadow her blood type is O-negative. She hasn't needed any blood in her life yet, but her parents wanted to know the type before something went wrong.

Meadow writes with her right hand and has a neat handwriting. She tries to not smudge her pages and is proud of when there are no mistakes on a page.

Meadow can only speak English, her old school didn't have any foreign languages and she never had the desire to learn any.

I AM ALLERGIC TO:
Meadow is mildly allergic to strawberries. Due to its severity she is able to eat some once in a while. She does gets sick if she eats too much of them.

Meadow loves all kind of clothing. She only doesn't like dresses or the color pink. Especially girly things aren't really her thing. Sparkles and lace are things she doesn't like. She also isn't one to wear much jewelry.

Meadow loves the beach and the ocean. She also loves summer and heat. At home she loves the stray cats and rollerskating. Meadow loves going to school, but isn't very ambitious. She just want to do well, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Meadow hates liars and people that aren't nice to others. She doesn't have a lot of patience for those kinds of people. Meadow also hates lace and glitters on clothing.
