Having been wandering the endless lengths of the corridors for the best part of Rue's day, she finally approached a large door which didn't seem to be restricted. She'd already been told off for entering several places that she wasn't supposed to be, but, looking like a bewildered first year, she'd got away with it without too much trouble from the Professors. Pushing the heavy wooden door open with all her strength, she entered a candle lit room, and at once was in awe at the amount of trophies and awards that were lined up, some inside glass cabinets, but some standing freely in the room like amazing works of art. They all looked polished, which would have been a nightmare job to do, and Rue admired whoever took the time to dust each one. Or maybe it was done by magic. Despite having been to Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, and coming from a magical background, Rue still had her confusions with the whole idea of being a Witch, and sometimes she forgot that magic could solve almost every problem. Feeling a little silly, but trying to keep her cool, she let the door swing closed behind her and took a few steps towards the sparkling cups. She wanted to reach out and touch them, to trace the lines and curves with her tiny fingers, but was worried about getting into even more trouble. Instead she just stared, reading each and every inscription one by one. There were a lot of quidditch trophies, something which Rue had never been keen on, but wanted to try again. There would be lots of opportunities for her to practice at Hogwarts, anyway.

Just as she turned to leave, to big door swung open with ease, and somebody entered the room. Rue smiled nervously, her big blue eyes shining in the candle light as she attempted to hold the door for them, but failed. She often forgot that other students were much stronger than her, and didn't need her help. Her help wasn't very good in that department anyway, and she found she was better at giving advice or just being there as a friend. Not wanting to appear rude, but struggling to find the words to greet this person, Rue opted for the simple option. 'Hi', she said with a polite grin, having to almost strain her neck to look up at their face. Admittedly, she looked a little odd doing this, but she had no other means of finding out what they looked like.

Justin didn't know what he would be doing today yet. He didn't have much to do, because well, Trinity seemed to have other plans at the moment. He didn't even know if she had come back to the school. He doubted it, because he hadn't seen her much in the holidays either, and when he had gotten to see her it was like she was in a completely different world. He was in love with her, but lately it all seemed so different, it felt like she was becoming a whole different kind of person. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know if he would ever be able to make things better between the two of them. Justin sighed, not wanting to think of any of this right now. It was officially the first day as a Sixth Year at Hogwarts New Zealand, and he would have to try his best in order to get the Head Boy spot that he wanted oh-so badly at the end of this year. He wanted to be Head Boy, because he was already a Prefect and he thoroughly enjoyed what he was doing here at the castle. He liked being able to enforce the rules. Maybe he would come back and be a Professor after he finished? Maybe, maybe not. He was still deciding on what he would do. He was tossing up between working at the Ministry, becoming an Auror, or becoming a Professor. He didn't know which one would be better for him in the long run. He really couldn't decide.

Justin pinned his Prefects Badge onto the front of his robes, and he decided he would head down to the trophy room before he did anything else today. He wanted to see the names of all of the other Headpeople down there. He wanted to see what he would have to live up to if he was finally chosen to become the Head Boy. He had the Prefect's position, so he would have to have some kind of good chance, at least, you would think so right? Justin didn't know how the selection process at this school went. He knew he would have to be extra active in his classes and he would have to make sure that he did the jobs that he was meant to be doing. He really wanted to have a good chance at proving himself. He wanted to be that new Head Boy. Justin walked into the Trophy Room now, swinging the door and nearly knocking someone out. "Oh, poop! I'm so sorry!" He said, not knowing what had happened and if she was alright.

Rue's eyes glanced towards the boy's robes, and she immediately spotted his prefect badge. She had imagined that if she had been going to Hogwarts from her first year, she might have been a prefect, too. However, she couldn't really complain. She had been allowed to transfer from Durmstrang having moved schools several times before already, and she was extremely pleased with the outcome of things. She had her reasons for changing so many times, and some were personal, although she was willing to admit that she had bad memories there. They were hauntingly bad memories which left Rue with nightmares, which she had already experienced once at Hogwarts. She was relieved to wake up, despite being sweaty and shaky when she did, because at least then she knew that it wasn't starting all over again. The pain, the misery. Knowing she was fine, Rue could comfortably go back to sleep, even though obviously she was a little shaken. She wanted to talk to somebody about it, but who she couldn't decide. She'd always kept things to herself in the past, and not been very open, but now something inside her was begging to talk to someone.

Smiling at the prefect, Rue then proceeded to giggle and blush a little as he swore and apologized with a look of great concern on his face. 'It's ok, I'm ok', she blurted out with a friendly smile on her face to show that she didn't mind that she had nearly been knocked out by the huge door. It seemed that Rue could usually get out of being in an accident by only a slim amount, but she was pleased about that. She wasn't sure what to say to the boy now, or whether she should just leave and let him get on with his business. But deep down she wanted to make more friends at Hogwarts, even though she risked people thinking she was a freak if things turned for the worse. 'I'm Rue, mind me asking your name?' She asked, feeling shy all of a sudden but trying desperately to keep her cool.

Justin felt better when he realised that he hadn't hurt the girl, only nearly knocked her into the rest of the trophy's in the room. He was glad that he hadn't hurt her, like at all. He would hate that, because he hated making bad first impressions on someone. It was just something that he couldn't stand. He was shy sometimes when he thought he had made a bad first impression, and that thought and act almost always made everything worse. Justin sighed, and he felt relieved when she told him that it was okay, and that she was okay. He knew that the worst she could be was scared, and well, that wasn't really all that bad. Because that kind of feeling went away if you gave it enough time. It wasn't like heartbreak. That kind of mark never really healed, you just had to learn to live with it every day. You had to find someone who could make it all better. Someone who you could trust not to make it worse. Justin didn't like thinking like that, but it was just stuck in his head down. Maybe a day spent with this girl would make things better? He was actually really hoping that she would be able to do something for him, because he didn't know whether or not the pain would get better.

Justin smiled at the girl, she said that her name was Rue. He liked how she told him that and didn't immediately walk away. He liked how she was willing to stop and talk to him, he definitely liked that. He didn't want to be left alone anymore, because he hated the feeling of being alone. There was just nobody there, and he didn't like there being nobody there. He was used to the feeling of having people around, whether it was Trinity, or just the people that he shared his common room with. There was always someone with him. "Justin. That's my name." Justin said, nearly having forgotten that she had asked him for his name. He didn't like not being able to remember those kinds of things, because, after all, they were meant to be the important things when you tried to meet somebody new. They had to know your name, and you had to know theirs. So, naturally, you couldn't ignore them when they tried to ask for your name. "What brings you out here?" Justin asked, feeling like it was his turn to make conversation. She couldn't be the one trying to get him to talk to her all the time, that just wasn't fair on her.
