Shane liked valentines day, if only because a single guy like him, who was so open to just easy fun tended to do well. He was technically there with Charlotte but he intended this event to be the last that he was at her with, the last of their interactions. He just did not have the time nor the patience to deal with that. It wasn’t like they were anything serious so he didn’t imagine that she would even care that much, he certainly didn’t. The hufflepuff had danced with her a little and had then decided that was it and told her he had to go do “something” before heading away. He’d dressed a little less formally for the event, in a flowery, less fitted shirt. It was maybe valentines and some people were very formally dressed but he thought this event could merit not having as much formality in it. The hufflepuff was glancing around, trying to spot any people who were either alone or didn’t look particularly sad. He was just hopeful to find someone to talk to, someone that he hopefully hadn’t spoken to before and someone that would be interested in kissing him. He hoped for all of that. Shane stopped at the food table and grabbed a biscuit, remaining stood there as the event transpired around him. Still on the look out for something.
