As Charlotte found herself getting older, she also found herself maturing and the teen was quite happy with where her life currently was. Her and Dan were back on good terms now and she couldn't be more happy about that. However, her last year at school was definitely starting to be a bit overwhelming with the pressure of exams and the need to be a good role model to the younger years with her new title as Head Girl. On top of that, her role as Quidditch captain was definitely starting to put some pressure on her too, especially with the loss of their first game of the year. It was definitely disappointing to see her team lose but she was sure that with a bit of extra practice that they could still win the cup.

One thing that Charlotte kept in the back of her mind was finding the room of requirement. The Slytherin could not forget her promise to her deceased friend, but knew that if she was ever going to find it that she needed some help. The first person that came to mind was Maddie. Despite their differences, Charlotte was always thinking about her best friend and was extremely eager to go on another adventure with her. After all, the pair of them were always doing so when they first started coming to Hogwarts and Charlotte wanted to relive that once again. She excitedly made her way up to the first floor from her common room to wait for her. She was looking forward to catching up with Maddie again and leaned against the wall with a smirk on her face, keeping a positive mind that the pair of them would have some fun.

It was the final year for Madeline Walden and her life had come full circle. All of her siblings were now at Hogwarts and what made it better was that they were all in the same house, it was like being at home again. However, her brothers and sister were older now and they had their own friends and their own lives to lead. Another thing that was almost miraculous was the fact that Maddie had a boyfriend, and it was a boy who she loathed when she first started at Hogwarts and now they couldn't be any more in love with each other. To top everything off, Maddie had the best friends surrounding her and she couldn't believe ho happy she was. After the events of last year she could never imagine her life the way she found it right now.

The only thing she was missing was Charlotte, she knew that her best friend had been busy with her Head Girl duties and busy with Dan so a catch up was long overdue. Maddie jumped at the chance to meet up with her best friend to go on an adventure like they used and to use this opportunity to chat. She pulled her hair into a high pony and threw on a burgundy jacket as she ran down the many of flights of stairs to the first floor where the two girls agreed to meet. Slightly out of breath she bounded over to Charlotte with a big grin on her face and pulled her best friend into a hug. "Hey! You ready?" she exhaled.

As Charlotte saw her best friend come from around the corner she beamed and met her in the middle for a hug, holding onto her tightly. She missed going on adventures with Maddie and was very much excited for this one. "Of course I'm ready!" she exclaimed, letting go of her. "How's things going with you and James?" Charlotte smirked, knowing very well about their relationship. After all, it was quite the unusual pair considering everything that had happened over the years and she was quite happy for them despite James being her ex boyfriend. She had Dan now and the girl couldn't be more happier to share her last year of school with him.

"Have you heard of the Room of Requirement? We should go look for it!" Charlotte smiled, a toothy grin across her face, hoping this time the pair of them could actually find it. She had tried a couple of times before and only hoped that some help could go a long way. "It's very hard to find, and so don't be disappointed if we don't find it, but I'm sure we will!" Charlotte liked to keep her positive attitude. After all, even if they didn't find it, at least they spent some time together and that was all that Charlotte really wanted.

Maddie smiled the hardest she felt she had for the longest time when Charlotte returned her hug. She squeezed her best friend and giggled, they had gone through their fair share of rough patches but she was happy that they seemed to be back on track now. She released her friend and started to walk in the direction of the staircase when Charlotte began to ask about her relationship with James. Maddie knew it was coming but she blushed all the same and still felt a little uncomfortable talking about it with Charlotte. After all, James was the main reason the two girls became incredibly distant those couple of years ago. She took a deep breath and focused on the stairs "We're.. er, fine thanks. We're having a nice time together" she replied sheepishly "how are you and Dan?" Maddie asked, eager to move the subject away from her.

"I think I have heard of it" Maddie pondered "I have no idea where it is though...do you?" she asked her best friend, intrigued to know if Charlotte had any insight into where this mythical room might be. "It sounds like a fun adventure though!" she said matching Charlotte's enthusiasm for the girls' first adventure together in a while.
