HISTORY
Laura was born as an only child to Marie and Steven Harris, in Paris, France. Her parents were childhood friends and got together when they were in their early 20s. Steven had moved to France from New Zealand, as his father had received a job offer in France that he couldn't turn down. Marie lived next door to Steven and they became friends since then. They had Laura a couple of years after they had gotten married. Laura learnt French from both her mother and the environment that she was living in. Throughout her time in France, she had been bullied a lot and didn't like France one bit. Her parents had decided to move to New Zealand when she was seven years old, as they wanted a fresh start and Steven wanted to be closer to his family, who had moved back to New Zealand a few years after Marie and Steven had gotten married.

When Laura was eight years old, nearly nine, she showed some magic. She had gotten in a heated argument with her mother when suddenly things around her started to float. That had scared the poor girl for several hours and just wanted cuddles from her mother. On Laura's 11th birthday, she had received a letter from Hogwarts New Zealand, a magical school, which she would be attending for the next seven years. She thought that it was all a prank at first, not believing it, But once she realised that it was in fact the truth, she was really excited about it.

Laura went to Hogwarts New Zealand for the next seven years, she didn't get any titles, but she had always enjoyed her time at school. She had met plenty of friends and a few romantic relationships here and there. When she graduated from Hogwarts, she decided to travel. The girl travelled around the world for a couple of years after she finished school. Having different casual jobs here and there. When she was around about 18 years of age, she had a one night stand with a French man and she had fallen pregnant. Not knowing what to do, she flew back to New Zealand and told her parents the news. Her mother wasn't happy with the news, her dad was shocked, but was supportive of Laura in whatever she wanted to do. Marie had given a few options of what to do with the baby, but keeping and raising the baby was not an option on the table. Laura badly wanted to keep the baby, but she didn't want to disappoint her mother. When Laura's baby was born, she had decided to give it up for adoption and had never seen the baby ever again.

After a few months after what had happened with her baby, Laura had decided to attend a school that focused on wedding planning. She just loved the idea of planning weddings and helping those who need help with their weddings. It wasn't long until she graduated from that school and joined a small wedding planning company. She had worked there for a few years but didn't like the management as they hadn't treated her or their employees right. So Laura decided in the spur of the moment to have her own wedding company.

Laura has only had the company for a few months now, and she is happy where she is at in life. Even though it's a little bit of a struggle at the moment since she's doing it all on her own. Laura has also been in search of her baby that she hasn't seen in almost fifteen years. She doesn't even know where to start and has looked at places she thought may help, but they haven't been in any use at the moment.

Laura used to have a good relationship with her parents. Well, used to have a great relationship with her mother. She currently has a great relationship with her father. Ever since her mother did not want her to raise her child, their relationship between the two of them hasn't been the greatest and it has been pretty rocky. The two of them constantly argue. Laura's parents have been divorced for a while now and Marie had moved back to France since she felt like there was nothing really for her in New Zealand. Laura and her father are on super good terms. They talk to each other every day and constantly support each other no matter what.
