Mara enjoyed school well enough, but she missed her brother and now that he was off traveling the world, she wanted nothing more than to be right there by his side. Ford was travelling, now she wanted to travel, it wasn't fair, she knew enough magic to leave, right? She could just hop a plane and meet up with Ford wherever he was!​

I'm totally jealous. You've no idea. School's great but I want to be out there in the world, you know? Nothing ever happens here and all I ever do is learn how to make things fly or change the colour of my friend's hair. It's all so boring. But not you! you have great adventures, right? Send me photos, how's life going, are you duelling? Where are you? Can I come visit? Do you have somewhere to stay, are you making friends? How's the fam, are you visiting anyone? WHATS BEEN HAPPENING?! IM SO OUT OF THE LOOP!​
