Noah knew that he had made an epic mistake in the last week that Evelyn wasn't likely to forgive him for in the foreseeable future unless he did something to make up for it. He didn't know how he had failed to send her a Valentine's Day rose. It wasn't so long ago that he had asked her to be his girlfriend and he was already forgetting special occasions. Noah really liked Evelyn in a way that he had never liked anyone else. So, he had spent the afternoon out in the gardens picking a bouquet of the twelve best red roses he could find. He didn't think he was technically allowed to do so, but it was worth the risk.

Noah was standing in the entrance hall, waiting on Evelyn to come down the staircase. He was dressed up for her and in his hand was the bouquet of red roses. He hoped that it would be enough to make up for his failure to send her a rose. He looked up at the stairs, anxiously awaiting his girlfriend.

Evelyn was excited for this very first Valentine Ball together with Noah. Since he asked her to be his girlfriend it was all a dream and the blonde was the most happy girl in the world. But there was something she didn't understood that well, she didn't recieved a rose from him? And she had send one so that seemed a bit strange. From Lucas she always got a rose even if they weren't together. But the blonde had a feeling Noah had a reason for it perhaps, so she wasn't gonna be mad at him directly. Evelyn spend lots of time at her look again and was satisfied with the result.

As she made her way to the entrance hall she saw Noah standing but almost couldn't see him because of the big bouquet of red roses. Evelyn got the biggest smile on her face and this was even better than one tiny little rose. As she was walking to him she smiled at her boyfriend. '' Noah!! I can hardly see you after that bouquet of roses.'' the blonde said and laughed afterwards. This was so sweet! Evelyn felt butterflies inside of her stomach and had never felt this before so it was a nice feeling.

Noah grinned as he spotted Evelyn making her way over to him. She looked gorgeous as she always did. That was one of the things he loved about her. He was relieved when Evelyn was thrilled with the roses he had brought her. Noah hadn't been sure that she would forgive his misstep so quickly though he had hoped. He kissed her lightly on the cheek as he handed the flowers to her. "They are all for you. I hope you will forgive me for not sending you just one." he said with a wink. He offered her his arm. "Want to go in to the dance?" he asked.

The blonde couldn't stop smiling andd when Noah handed over the roses and gave her a kiss on the cheek Evelyn smiled brighter. How could she be ever mad at him, this was incredible sweet of him. '' I already thought you had a good reason for it, but this is even sweeter! I love it! Thanks.''
And she returned the kiss on his cheek. The blonde noticed she was a bit strained, and couldn't really placed it. This feeling and stuff were all new for her and she was curious if Noah had the same feeling. '' It is so nice being here with you Noah. I am a lucky girl.'' the blonde said to Noah with a lovely smile. She thought about how Noah would feel at this moment, perhaps he liked someone before, looking at his status as son of the minister. Evelyn always thought Noah was more grown up than other boys if she compared him with Lucas he was way more mature. And the blonde liked that from her boyfriend.

Evelyn nodded and took the arm of Noah when he asked if they should to the the dance. And Evelyn couldn't really wait. She would walk in with Noah as her boyfriend on her side and she thought they were looking awesome together. '' Yes ofcourse! I can't wait.'' the blonde answered. She took Noah his arm and walked inside of the Great Hall. The decorations were something like last year but still it looked cute and really for Valentine Dance.

Noah grinned at Evelyn, feeling pleased with himself. She seemed to really love the roses he brought her. "Only the best for you." he told her with a wink. Noah was going to enjoy his evening with Evelyn, and it was already off to a perfect start. He led her into the dance with his head high. He knew he had the loveliest date in the room. The decorations were exactly as Noah thought they would be. Lots of red, pink, and white as well as hearts and cupids everywhere. It wasn't his style, but it did look nice. Noah turned to Evelyn. "Would you like to dance?" he asked her. Lyra had helped him with dance lessons a few nights ago so he wouldn't embarrass himself.

The look on Noah his face was just adorable and Evelyn knew she has a crush for the first time. She couldn't wait to tell her father about this and what would mother say, what could she possible say negative about this. Perhaps for the first time she would be proud of her daughter and happy. But that was for later now this was important he and this moment. A moment to never forget and she would sure remember this. The blonde walked with Noah into the Great Hall and smiled bright when she arrived. When they stopped Noah asked if she wanted to dance. And ofcourse Evelyn wanted that, she was curious how Noah would dance. He had been to several occasions she thought, so she had a feeling he would be a great dancer. Evelyn knew how to dance, but didn't saw herself as the greatest dancer, but yet she was confident. '' Yes ofcourse Mister Kingsley.'' she said with a charming smile. Evelyn placed one hand at his shoulders and took one hand of Noah. She felt happy and was ready to have this first dance and helped Noah with placing one hand on her hips. She figured it must be weird to touch that part of her body out of nowhere. But Evelyn felt comfertable with it.

Noah spotted his mother across the room, looking at him with raised eyebrows. He could already hear her prying questions. After all, Evelyn was in her house. He tried to ignore her for now, not wanting Evelyn to see any awkwardness in his face. He smiled as she placed his hand on her hip and took his other hand in hers. Evelyn certainly was assertive and knew what she wanted. It was a trait Noah admired in her. "Do you see any of your friends, Ev?" he asked curiously.

Evelyn was curious what Noah must be thinking. The blonde herself knew what she wanted and when it didn't happend she just made sure it did. She didn't felt nervous anymore just enjoyed the moment. When they started to dance Evelyn could see that Noah had some practice some day or whenever because he didn't failed or looked strange when he did so. It was just lovely and slowly and Evelyn could look around her. After a moment of silence Noah asked if she saw any friends. The blonde looked at Noah again with her bright blue eyes and nodded. '' Yes I spotted Amber and Noemie, they are both alone here. You should meet my friends soon! They really want to meet you.'' The blonde thought about Lucas who she didn't spot yet. She still saw him as a friend but the contact wasn't that well. Perhaps him meeting Noah would be a bad idea or on the other side, he moved on with Merrill and Evelyn and Lucas were nothing more than friends. Evelyn made that clear and she just wanted to have fun with Noah. And she had faith that Lucas would come around once and than he just had to meet Noah.

The blonde couldn't think of a person who wouldn't like her boyfriend. She smiled at Noah again and made a turn with dancing and returned back with looking at Noah and gave a quick kiss on his mouth. The blonde had never kissed before so this was a start and she liked to play with this. Evelyn looked around the Great Hall and returned the question back at Noah. '' Do you see people you know?'' the blonde didn't want to say friends, because she didn't knew with who Noah hanged out. They had spend so much time together and it seemed that Noah liked being on his own sometimes too. Evelyn didn't want to embarrass him.

Distracted didn't begin to describe Cyndi Kingsley as she watched her son enter the dance with his date. His girlfriend actually, but that was a bit much for the woman to come to terms with. She'd been trying, really she had but seeing the pair now, the girl, one of her Gryffindors, with a bouquet of roses, it was overwhelming. The woman had a responsibility to watch over all of the students, but her son was getting slightly more of that attention this evening which meant that the woman clearly saw the girl guide her young, sweet, innocent son's hand to her hip. Her eyebrows rose swiftly and she quickly exchanged a look with her son, both a reminder that she expected him to be a gentleman this evening and a warning that she would break her promise and walk over if she needed to in order to make sure that happened.
