[Stan Beckett]

Stanislaw didn't really care for the dance or the formalities of the evening, not after this week's events. He was here for the fun and the fun alone, not wanting to spend the rest of the evening cooped up in the common room with his best friend. Wearing the most casual clothes he could find in his trunk, which honestly wasn't a lot since his mother had been the one who had packed his trunk hastily in an attempt to get rid of him as soon as possible, the boy dragged Allie with him into the Great Hall. ''Can we raid the food table? I'm hungry still,'' he said in Polish.

Allison followed Stanis into the great hall, pausing as she saw everyone else. "Were we supposed to dress up for this?" She asked, starting towards the food. "look at these decorations, this is all so... so..." She paused, brow furrowed. "Stanis, what's the word for dramatic?" She questioned.

Stanislaw shrugged at the question. He had heard some people talk about dressing up for the festivities but thought that they meant just regular, casual clothes. Hence the reason why he was wearing his clothing items. ''It is 'dramatyczny','' the Gryffindor replied, looking back to his friend. He agreed with Allie that the decorations were dramatic, and a lot less fun than the ones put up during the Halloween feast. ''Now can we get food, please?'' he begged, tugging at the sleeve of her jacket.

 

[Edward Elric]

Edward had been trying to make an attempt attending more of the school events, since he was trying to shed any potential reputation as a troublemaker. He still needed to speak with the Professor about arranging a proper Quidditch Practice/Lesson for the 1st years that were interested and was honestly a little worried that someone like Luxen Silverback might try to spoil it. He walked into the Great Hall in his regular school robes, he didn't have anything particularly nice but also didn't have a date so didn't feel the pressure to dress nicely.

Edward noticed Stan and Allison and began walking over towards them "So which do think is harder, Herbology or Transfiguration" He asked casually of the pair, those were two subjects they had with Slytherins and after his run in with the Slytherins, Edward could understand why there was a long rivalry between the two houses. He knew some of them were alright but the ones he met didn't seem to be.

Allison repeated the word a few times, looking up in surprise as Edward joined them. "Hi, Ed," She tried again, looping an arm through his and the other through Stanis's. "Let's go raid the food table and ignore your school-related questions," She teased, trying to drag both boys with her to get food.

''Nice uniform,'' the boy teased, grinning at his dormmate. He wasn't the best dressed either, why anyone would actually dress up for things like this was beyond him, but wearing the school robes seemed a little out of place. He let Allie loop her arm through his and followed her as she led Edward and him towards the food table. Good, his stomach was making all sorts of weird noises now. Ignoring Allie, however, Stanislaw answered Edward's question. ''Transfiguration is harder. I like Herbology.'' He liked plants, and he liked working with plants, so Herbology was not at all that difficult. In fact, he'd say that it was the easiest subject they had this year, besides flying, of course.
