Below are the careers requiring Herbology, and the NEWT grades needed to apply for them:

**** must earn at least 2/3 of Potions, Charms, Herbology

General Guidelines and Rules:

1. Listen and respect the professor and your peers.
2. Plagiarism will not be tolerated, including that of your own alternative character in a previous year.
3. Board rules apply in the class.
4. Missed a lesson? Lessons will remain open until the exams begin.
5. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.

Grading and Credit:

1. Do not plagiarize or use AI for any part of your lesson, or you will receive an automatic T.
2. While there is no specific minimum word count, a few sentences are fine to receive full marks.
3. Additional Credit = 10 House Points
4. Substantial Credit = 20 House Points
5. All other credits are specified in the lesson text.
6. Once your lesson has been graded, I will also edit your post to include the grade received.

IC Classroom Interactions:

1. Please don't touch anything that you don't know what it is. Even then, some plants shouldn't be touched, poked, harvested, have a light shone on them, or replanted unless necessary. If you're unsure, please ask the professor for details.
2. Professor Layton is very open about where students sit, and if they want to chat amongst themselves. It's a light hearted room although when Professor Layton is speaking, please pay attention.
3. If you find a googly eye on a plant left over from a previous student's shenanigans, feel free to leave it there.
