Alaska walked into the library, yellow rose in hand - the American, a hopeless romantic, wouldn't admit to being thrilled with the task of delivering roses. Snaking through the bookshelves, Alaska wasn't completely sure which was Ainsley Lynch. Seeing a girl she recognized from class Alaska called for the Hufflepuff, "Ainsley Lynch?".

Since discovering the library with Amber, Ainsley had spent more and more time there, surrounding herself with the familiarity of a room full of books. Today she had tucked herself tightly into a soft cushy chair, a huge, fascinating book about potions sitting open on her lap. She was so engrossed in her reading that she almost didn't hear her name being called, tilting her head up a moment before she actually tore her eyes away from the page. She was startled to see a girl she had never spoken with, pulling her book a little closer defensively. "Yes?" Ainsley asked softly, face mostly hidden by her wild hair.

Walkig over to the quiet Hufflepuff, Alaska gently placed the rose and its note next to her. "Congrats! Here you go," giving a wave Alaska made her way to her next delivery.

Dear Ainsley,

Thanks for being my friend. I'm really glad we're in the same house together.

Love, Amber.

Ainsley watched in startled silence, her eyes wide. She couldn't understand why... someone she had never even met would be giving her a rose. Watching the girl uncertainly, Ainsley picked up the rose with only her thumb and index finger, looking over it warily for a second before remembering the note. She picked it up quickly and held it close to her face to read, eyes widening as the message sank in. Oh, it was a delivery... from Amber... Amber had ordered a rose for her, specially! Ainsley beamed, holding the rose closer now and sniffing it delightedly. Heart feeling warm and full, Ainsley forgot all about her books and left them behind, immediately going to find Amber to thank her.
