Closed Friends Forever

Kira was tired. She'd stayed up all night making a gift for her friend Marcos. They didn't speak every day, but she always enjoyed his company. Knowing where to look for him, she made her way to the library. If he wasn't here, he'd be at the Quidditch pitch. Her gift tucked safely away in her bag, she wandered through the library until she spotted her target. She snuck up behind him before sticking her head in front of him. "Hiiiii," She whispered loudly.

Marcos was trying his best to balance his time, but things were easier for him. With fewer classes, he just had less to do and could focus better on the things he did have. The boy had his first level of NEWT classes, the pre-next year. He was finding it easier to study the material when there was just less of it. The teen glanced up when someone snuck up behind him. It had been certainly startling. He smiled at her, ”Hey Kira!” he greeted with a quiet but friendly tone. ”How are you?” Marcos didn’t see her all that often but he was always happy to spend time with her, check in with how her life was doing, help her or just listen. He had an easy, relaxed friendship with Kira, and it was always nice to spend time with her. ”How are the things with your boy?” he added speaking quietly. He hoped that he was treating her right and that they were doing well. He didn’t want to hear about if he’d broken her heart, but at the very least, just looking at her there, she didn’t seem upset so everything was likely fine. ​

Kira smiled softly, coming around to face Marcos. "I'm good," She whispered, "Things are going well." She blushed a bit, rocking on her feet. "How are things with your lady friend?" She asked lightly, remembering how he had liked a girl. She hoped the other girl had come to her senses. Marcos was a wonderful guy. "I got you something," She told him with a twinkle in her ocean blue eyes.
