Jerara knew that attending this event with Ellie was going to be a good event. He knew it was important for her too, since it would be her last yuleball, so he was finishing with his tie and headed to the ball. He was meeting her at the entrance and spotted her right away, ”Ellie!” Jerara greeted brightly as he stepped towards her, she did as always look amazing, and all thoughts of classes, exams and reading went out of the window as he was reminded by looking at her, of how lucky he was to have ended up dating her during his school, she was after all, a truly beautiful person. ”You look amazing Ellie,” he complimented with a small smile on his face.

Eleanor was sad that this would be her last Yule Ball as it meant that it was her last opportunity to spend such a night with Jerara. It was always special to her as it was where they had first met and so Ellie made sure to take her time getting ready, wanting the night to be as perfect as possible. When she found Jerara walking towards her as she waited at the entrance, she beamed at him, blushing slightly at his compliment. "Thank you." she said with a smile. "So do you!" Ellie couldn't believe how fortunate she was to have a boyfriend like him, who could make her happy without even trying to. She took his hand as she looked towards the door of the Great Hall. "Shall we go inside?" Eleanor asked, not able to wipe the smile off her face.

It was easy to shut his mind off from all the things that he had to do when he spent time with Ellie, she was a beautiful and warm person. He smiled at her and nodded as she took his hand. He leaned in and kissed her lightly on the lips before nodding, "Let's dance!" he said to her, dancing would be a good thing, a way to forget about everything else, a way to just spend the time with someone he like and forget about all the pressures that they as people doing important exams had. "Or we can do whatever you want, it's your last yuleball, I want it to be one you remember!" Jerara added, waiting to see what she would want to do.

Eleanor was lucky to have Jerara as her boyfriend. She kissed him back as he kissed her and looked around at all of the people in the Great Hall, many of which had already started dancing and enjoying themselves. She beamed at Jerara. "Of course we can dance!" she exclaimed, taking him onto the dance floor. Her favourite thing to do was dance with Jerara. She placed her hands on his waist as she moved in time with the music, not being able to think of any better way to make her last yuleball memorable.

Jerara grinned at her, nodding in agreement. He followed her to the dance floor and loved the feeling of her hands upon his waist. He placed his own hands on hers too, snaking one a little more to her back, holding them close, "I'm definitely going to miss you when you graduate," the ravenclaw prefect knew he would. He wasn't like tristan, he didn't need to be jumping between people, he liked Ellie and he had no time for anyone else. She was a beautiful and amazing girl, perfect in every way and school without her would be decidedly more lonely. "Hows your semester been?" the teen asked but his voice was low and it wasn't like he really expected an answer from her, he would be happy for the question to be ignore and for them to just happily dance to the music.

As Jerara spoke, Ellie looked up at him. "I'll miss you too." she told him, suddenly realising just how close she was to graduating and having to leave Jerara behind. She wished Jerara could graduate with her but knew that he couldn't, no matter how much she wanted to, and simply had to wait the two years before he could finally join her in the real world. "It's been okay." Ellie replied in response to Jerara's question. "Things are starting to get real though, with exams being next semester. What about you? How's you semester been?"

Jerara smiled at her softly as she returned the sentiment to him, he would be so proud that she would be graduating with likely amazing grades and moving forward with her life, but it wouldn’t stop him feeling sad to be left without her. The ravenclaw held her close as they danced, he knew eventually they would need to discuss what would happen to them when she did graduate. He nodded, ”About the same, I don’t have much spare time at all, my own fault for doing all the classes,” Jerara didn't have much time to sleep with all the work he had which would only get worse if he continued all of them forward, but he did love learning, ”I’m looking forward to the break, it’ll be nice to do some non-school reading for once,”
