First Supper

Maria walked in the Great Hall, and took a seat in the middle of the long row at the Gryffindor house table. Maria helped herself to some chicken and salad. She was new and didnt know many people and the ones she did know werent in gryffindor. She ate her supper silently. Maybe someone will come talk to me. She thought to herself.

Madlyn was also enjoying her supper when she noticed the girl from across from her. She hadn't been talkative much to anyone else besides her roommate and some chick she meet last week at the qudditch pitch field. Madlyn was no loner or anything like that, she just prefer boarding when she was alone. Or at least hiking when someone interested enough wanted to do something fun besides hanging around Hogwarts doing nothing else but assignments. "Hey, I saw you at sorting last month, how's Gryffindor going along with you?" she ask the girl as she bit into her dinner. Casually enjoying her meal while everyone else talked around them.
