Eleanora Summers couldn't believe the day was finally here. She was going to Hogwarts! On top of that she got to go with her twin, and best friend. Ellie gave an excited squeeze to both their hands. Lysander she was holding onto because she was worried in their excitement the two would get separated, but Spencer was more out of comfort. Her cousin was shy, and didn't much like crowds. Ellie had a nagging doubt that they would be in the same house so she wanted to make sure they were together for as long as possible. Who knew if he would be able to make friends all on his own?
As they entered the hall Ellie looked around in awe. Dad had always described the hall in detail, but seeing it in person was completely different. It was crazy to imagine that their dads, and aunts had all gone to this school so many years ago. They seemed to have a lot of fond memories of the place, and Ellie hoped to make just as many. She was pulled out of her thoughts by Lysander excitedly pointing out their dad at the Professor's table. She had been so excited by finally being at school that Ellie had forgotten that one of their dads would be here. "Hi, Dad!" she called out just as loud as her brother, and waving. Unfortunately for poor Spencer she made him wave too as she hadn't dropped his hand. When Lysander asked if their dad's could enchant the ceiling in their house to look like this one Ellie pondered for a minute. She swore there was a story about Daddy having done that before. "I bet they can! We should ask!" She whispered back excitedly. It would be just like when they went camping with Dallas!
Soon named were being called. Spencer was the first of them to go. For a second it seemed like he was debating whether or not being in school was worth having to go to the front of the crowd. Ellie gave him a gentle nudge to get him going. As the crowd dwindled she began tapping her hands impatiently on her hips. Why did it have to go by last name? If it was first she'd be up there by now! Finally they got the the S's. Eleanora was called up before her brother. She gave his hand one more squeeze, and hugged him quickly before going up. This was finally it!
"You're a true...Hufflepuff!"
