He is no stranger to summer jobs and such because of this. Eamon fears that if he does not provide for his family, it'll all fall apart. He's also highly emotional, finding it difficult sometimes to keep his emotions in check, especially his anger towards the government or people.
Fears: He fears that if he doesn't help his family enough that everything might fall apart. The Tulloch family does not have a lot of money which means that most of his things are hand-me-downs from relatives. He doesn't want people to know about this as he's ashamed of it. He also fears that people might not like him when they find out how he lives, this is why he hasn't invited any of his Hogwarts friends over to come over to his house.
Desires: Eamon desires to have a good-paying job after graduation - even though he is a wizard, he would like a job in the muggle world as that would be much easier to handle along with his family and their living condition than having to work for a foreign ministry of magic.
