This is how all Dueling threads will be set out. Below, in the order the names appear in the description, the two contestants will post. Dante Davenport will be supervising the duels, and therefore, If errors are made and so forth, Dante Davenport will intervene, possibly in the said thread -- however -- more than likely via PM to either of the two duelists.

Before beginning a duel however, ensure that all of the following threads have been read:
Dueling Rules
Dueling Points
Accepted Spells (via year)

Please ensure that the set out is:

Points: Start with a default of 150
Spell cast / Defense: (If no spell, and just dodge, this goes here as well)
RP HERE
Points as of now: After the deduction above, or addition.

Duelling Points: 150

The theme song of The Twilight Zone played in Aeon's head as he marched through the Dungeons, a place he'd always hated. Mostly due to the fact it was usually dark and kind of creepy, even when the torches were lit, but also because it was close to the Slytherin Common Room, and they had a reputation for being, well, unpleasant. To put it as nicely as possible. Though there were an exceptional few. Brodie, for example, his current duelling partner and boyfriend.

As soon as he'd entered the Duelling Chamber, Aeon took his place at the end of the platform and spun around on his heel so that he could see the entrance, taking his wand from his black robes at the same time. It's a shame I got paired with Brodie. I don't want to have to kick his butt. The boy thought with a sigh, then straightened his wide-brimmed wizard hat while he waited, coloured the same way as his robes. They made him feel closer to his magic somehow, as well as just looking cool. He preferred them over the stupid cones he'd seen some wizards wear. Yeuch.

Brodie was sitting in the Slytherin common room with his pet snake wrapped around his arm as he finished his History of Magic essay. It was about half an inch short at that point but he didn't feel like trying to add anymore information. Brodie had never really liked the subject, but at least he wasn't like that stupid Merrythought girl who just sat there all class and refused to do her homework. Brodie was trying to put off getting to dueling club as long as he possibly could. On one hand he was looking forward to dueling his boyfriend, but at the same time he was dreading it. Brodie thought it would be allot of fun to see who was the better duelist but there was also humiliation for the loser.

Brodie looked up at the clock on the other side of the room and sighed. If he waited any longer he would more then likely annoy Aeon and the professor. Brodie shoved his homework, quills, and ink into his bag and slung it over his shoulder. He was almost out of the door when he remembered his snake. Damn it, so much for not being late as he turned around and quickly went up to his dorm to drop off the serpent before rushing out the door. It didn't take long for Brodie to get to the dueling chamber when he ran. Brodie entered the room and smiled when he saw Aeon already there. "You ready to get your ass kicked?" Brodie asked his smile turning into a playful smirk.
