The Halloween feast not only marked the midway point of the semester, but also the final Halloween he would celebrate during his time at hogwarts, and Flavio was so stressed about everything it was difficult for him to focus on having fun for the night. In the moments before getting ready he even considered calling it quits to spend the feast in his dorm going over notes to reassure himself he was on the right track with his grades instead of dressing up. Though he managed to convince himself attending the feast and having a few hours away from his school work would be beneficial, in providing him an opportunity to spend time with his friends and November, even if it meant putting studying aside for a little while. He also knew he would be letting November down if he was absent, something he didn't want to do since they had organized another costume together that year. It would be detrimental for him to let anyone down by not being there when he said he would be, and especially to his girlfriend, so he began to get ready no matter how uneasy he felt spending the night differing from his schedule.
When his suit was on, his bolo tie was in place and his hair was slicked back he headed from Ravenclaw tower to the Halloween feast as Vincent Vega. Much like his other costume with November during the Halloween feast of their fifth year, they were dressing as characters from a muggle movie they had watched together during the holidays and many students weren't likely to understand what their costume was from. But Flavio was happy in the choice to dress this way and he was sure November felt the same, which was all that really mattered to him. Being a few minutes late himself, Flavio was surprised to see November wasn't at the feast waiting for him. He frowned a little as he walked over to the snack table and picked up lollipop, savoring it in an effort to distract himself from the nagging thoughts in the back of his mind telling him he should be studying. He hoped November would arrive soon so he wouldn't need to wait much longer and could begin having fun.
