Daniel is the eldest of Turner's three children. He lives with his family in Tasmania, Australia. They have a farm where they grow truffles. Daniel has two sisters who he didn't want to be told out loud. Nevertheless, he tries to be kind to his sisters and sometimes teases.

In his spare time, he helps his father in the field and also his mother in collecting herbs. Daniel has been studying at the Durmstrang Institute for four years and likes it there because he can gain a lot of knowledge and military behavior there, which will help him choose the future of his future life.

However, shortly before the end of the fourth year of school, the principal offered him a year's exchange program with some other magic school. Daniel chose the New Zealand Hogwarts, where his sister Andrea is already studying. The year is already fast.
