Padme had been thinking about Ilija as she’d been getting ready. Really her experiences with him and their relationship was so long ago now that it wasn’t really worth considering but as this was the last celebration before graduation it was just sitting on her mind. She was looking at herself in the mirror, putting the final touches on her outfit and making sure that things were sitting in the right places and she couldn’t help but think of him, of them and of relationships. She thought too of Jace who seemed to come in and out of her life like a yo-yo but it had been a while since she’d seen him. Padme let those linger just on the front of her mind as she headed to the great hall. This would be nice, she’d likely be alone, but there wasn’t really anything wrong with that, and she could manage it. She could be alone. She walked into the great hall and found a table with barely anyone at it and just sat down. She might seek someone out, but for now she was happy to just watch everyone else.
