From her experience in politics, Claudia knew it was important to get the message out about what exactly she stood for as quickly as possible. After the radio interview, people were already picking who they were voting for, and she hadn't been able to express everything she wanted to in that short period of time. Of course, she knew the debates were important as well, but if she could establish herself in the mind of voters before that, she would stand stronger during the debates.

Which was why she had set up a small table at Obsidian Harbour with a stack of flyers on top. Her husband was helping her as well as her friend Colin and her niece Grace. Her youngest daughter Alice had insisted on tagging along too, but Claudia had told her her father would take her home when she wanted to. Grace was handing out flyers in another part of Obsidian Harbour, as she didn't think they needed as many people at the table as they had now. Today the plan was to hand out as many flyers with her standpoints on it as possible, spreading her views and ideas for the ministry and future early on in the campaign. She looked down at one of them with a smile. While it still didn't fit everything she had in mind, she felt like she had done a good job putting her most important points on it.

- Education -
Education is one of the most important aspects of our society. Every witch, wizard, or squib in our community will need the best education we can provide so they can thrive and help our society grow. While Hogwarts is the main institution for education in this country, we want to create more options for those members of our society that cannot attend the wizarding school. Pre-Hogwarts education is a must, as not all parents are able to homeschool their magical children. We also need more programs for squibs that want to remain in the magical society they were born in.

- Discrimination -
Even in the year 2046, discrimination and prejudice are alive and well in our society. We want to put more focus on the remaining injustices, focusing on possible discrimination in the work field or even as early as school. Our children will need to be educated that these are not acceptable opinions to hold, and we want to put consequences in place for those who continue to spread a hateful, bigoted message.

- Progress -
It is important for our society to keep changing and progressing to a better future. My opinion is that wizarding culture needs to become more open-minded. We need to open our eyes to the other part of our world and allow ourselves to learn from muggles. There is a lot we can learn from them. They are adaptable and inventive, changing along with our modern world.
We also want to en sure that wizarding businesses are given the support and communication of the ministry to continue to thrive and develop our economy.

The sudden adjustment from days in a peaceful greenhouse to helping his wife campaign for minister had been abrupt, and James wasn't quite used to the change. Though he had always considered himself a friendly, social man, his job was isolating by nature at times, and it felt... almost surreal, going from days where he spoke to almost nobody but his family, to making his way up and down the main street trying to convince people to read Claudia's flyers. Her composure, preparedness, and commitment to her issues shone though, and catching a glimpse of Claudia manning her table James couldn't hold back a proud smile. Every day he found himself admiring his wife more and more, and he only hoped the rest of the wizarding world would see things his way. His determination to help her succeed refreshed, James redoubled his efforts, handing out flyers and friendly smiles to anyone who would take them.

Ever enthusiastic about helping his friend's campaign and spreading her messages of equality and education, Colin stood by the small table, stack of flyers in his arms and a badge with the words 'Vote Claudia' pinned to his shirt. There was no better way to spend an afternoon in Obsidian harbour than helping his friend, as far as he was concerned. Claudia's radio interview had gone well, with her messages stated clearly and concisely, but now it was time to spread the message further and in more detail. Flyers were the perfect medium, telling of Claudia's intentions and what she stood in a way that was detailed but alternately did not appear too wordy or boring to passersby. He was pleased with how everything turned out and smiled genuinely at every person walking past while he tried to hand out flyers whenever possible.

Sara had grabbed one of the flyers to blend in a bit, leaning against a wall some feet away from her candidate, she flicked through it without properly reading. From here, she could see everyone that approached, though she doubted there would be much trouble at a smaller event such as this one, one could never be too careful. Her wand was in her back pocket, she was constantly aware of how many people were in the space. Some she recognised from the file, the husband of course. The second man was a friend. She'd noticed nothing untoward about Mrs. Holland yet, but she refused to let how pleasant the woman was colour her judgement. Avory Brandt had fooled plenty of people, and had ended up in a position of power. This time had to be different.

Victoire loved what she currently did, but her ultimate dream was to be minister for magic at some point. She felt too young currently but was certain that next time she'd be and feel old enough to take on such a position. The girl had been looking at the candidates and really only one had been someone she had thought she could follow. Claudia, which was why despite the fact she was meant to be back at work from lunch in about twenty minutes the former Gryffindor was making her way through obsidian harbour trying to find where this woman was. Victoire finally spotted her handing out leaflets, "Ms. Holland," Victoire said upon approaching and taking one of the leaflets, "I was hoping to help out, I'm working the ministry and would love some experience," she didn't need to be paid, she just wanted the chance to get some experience on a campaign so she'd know what to do when her own time came.

Claudia truly felt stronger with her family and friends at her side, she smiled as she watched James pass out flyers with enthusiasm that reminded her of her daughter Rose. His support was invaluable. Colin had also helped her greatly, his writer's knowledge helping her with the wording of a few things on the flyers. She didn't think it unfair to get help from others, as in her opinion everyone needed to help each other. That was partly what her platform was based on, open communication and standing together as one.

A young woman walked up to her, and Claudia thought she looked vaguely familiar. She couldn't be the daughter of any of her friends, she looked too old for that. She smiled at the woman, as she started to speak. First she just thought the blonde woman would want more information about her campaign, but instead she said she wanted to help. Claudia's eyes widened in surprise, but then she smiled widely. "What's your name?" she asked, just so she would know what to call the girl. "I'm honored you want to help me out, but it would be voluntary. If that is no problem for you, you're welcome to help me as long as you want. There is always something to do, and I hope it can be educational for you." She wondered what kind of experience this woman was hoping for, and she hoped she would be able to provide it. "My niece is also helping me out, I think she's around your age." She added, letting her now that she would have company around her own age in case that would make her feel more comfortable.

A solid figured could be seen leaning against the foundation of an old building. One, dressed in all back, down from their boots to the leather jacket they wore. In tone with the weather, despite having had spent most of their life in the states. They are very familiar with the weather changes. After all, they've spent seven miserable years adapting in this hell hole. Clear, pale optics went from the woman, the main one running the show. She was everywhere, radio shows and newspapers, the Daily Prophets have covered them all. They've held back from personally forming a general opinion on them. That, typically didn't stop them before. They pushed away, upright on their feet again. They moved with an aura of suspicion on them. A smirk found it's away across their lips. Like purposely, in ominous attempts to capture Mrs. Holland's attention. They stopped several feet away, flirting with these baleful ideas in silence. It could be fun for them, not only them but for all.
