It was only recently that Emily had learned she was chosen as the representative to revive the Conglomerated Arts club. The task was way too big to take on alone and thus two people were chosen as leaders. Alongside Emily was Maggie, whom she had met once or twice to make sure this event was going to be great. Emily and Maggie had received a list of students that wanted to join the club and now it was game time. They had prepared the Conglomerated Arts room for their activity and waited for the students to come in.

Emily and Maggie were standing in a room surrounded by four different tables. Each table had a form of arts and crafts. The first table was filled with paper, carton, glitters and markers. The second one was filled with different types of clay and had some pottery wheels. The third table had sewing machines, yawn and fabrics to paint or draw on and the last table had musical instruments. Emily and Maggie knew there were more arts, but now each student could pick the type of art they favoured.
‘’Welcome everyone to the first activity of new and revived Conglomerated Arts club’’ Emily spoke confidently and hoped she was understandable for everyone. ‘’I am Emily and this Maggie your Queens of Crafts’’ Emily glanced towards Maggie. ‘We are in charge of this club, which means you can come and ask us if you need anything.’’ Emily hoped that was enough for formalities and went on to explain the activity.

‘’Today we are going to create our own Christmas baubles for the trees this year.’’ Emily looked over at Maggie hoping she could add on to her story if needed. ‘’There are four tables in this room each filled with different types of art and crafts, most tables speak for itself and we want to leave the creativity up to you guys.’’ Emily paused ‘’At the fourth table you can make your own cool Christmas jingle on an instrument of choice and they will be put in special enchanted baubles, these Baubles will play the tune you made and so everyone in the castle can enjoy your jingle’’ Emily was thinking if there were more things to say about the activity.

‘’There is also a table filled with Christmas cookies and drinks so we all get in the Christmas mood.’’ Emily smiled and hoped that everyone would have a great time. Making friends and being social was important. ‘’If you need any help, we will walk around and make our own baubles alongside you guys.’’ Emily said while looking over the group of students in front of her ‘’The most important thing is to have fun, you guys may go to a table of your desire now’’ Emily ended her little speech, which meant the first Conglomerated Arts Club event had started for year 36.

Lars had only ever joined the Wild Patch club, as he did like flowers, but he had been disappointed when there hadn't been an arts club to be a part of. Lars' real passion was painting and drawing, so he would have liked to meet more people who liked the same thing. It made him happy to hear there had been an old club for this that was being revived. While he was a bit nervous about making art in a big group, he was excited for today's event. He made his way into the arts room and found himself a space to sit as he listened to the girls who were running the club. He knew Emily from classes, though he hadn't known she was interested in art. The girl explained that they were creating Christmas baubles for the trees, which was kind of interesting even if Lars preferred to paint. There was an opportunity to make musical ones too, but Lars couldn't play any instruments so he decided to let that one slide. The different tables had different things on them, and Lars was a bit disappointed to see no paint had been put out. But he figured he could grab some if he needed it, he knew where it was kept in the room. Lars grabbed some paper and started to sketch his idea. He was thinking of branching out and using clay to make something before painting it, and his first idea was to make a clay sunflower to hang in the tree. It wasn't very Christmas-y, but he wanted to make it. He settled down to sketch his ideas before trying to use the clay.

Lumio had been curious about this new fangled arts club, he wasn’t much of an artist, he liked cooking but ever since he’d spent time in this room with Emerson he had been keen to try his hand at more of it, and more than just cooking so of course he went along. He stepped into the arts room, a place he knew relatively well and noted that there were four tables, each with a different form of arts and crafts, it was going to be difficult to pick one. He looked to the girls as they introduced what this event was and then everyone was just allowed to get started. Lumio was pretty happy he thought about which would be best for him, the instruments one was just a solid, he could definitely do that. The sewing table seemed like a recipe for disaster if he thought about it as did the pottery one and glitter seemed like it could be the most fun. But, Lumio went to the instruments and easily found a guitar, he began to quickly tune it as others found what they wanted.

Padme walked into the arts room, she knew it wasn’t an official club but with a lack of other things for her to do, it had been in her mind a good choice to go along to to the first meeting of this new (re-emerged) club. From what she’d been able to find out, it had existed and then had gone out of fashion and not existed. She arrived at the room and noted the people running it and was quick to find her seat within the room. She was a little surprised to hear the girls who were running it refer to themselves as the queens of craft but to each their own. She looked between the table and settled on the one where she could just paint a bauble. Admittedly Padme knew her level of arts and crafts was not particularly high but she could manage to paint a bauble and add glitter to it, so that was what she did or well, intended to do.

Morgan was new to Hogwarts and hadn't made many or any friends at Hogwarts, which made her a little sad. Yes, she had her siblings, but she didn't see them as often as she liked, and she felt lonely sometimes. So she had hoped that this event would help her make some friends. The little part goblin slowly made her way to the Conglomerated Arts Room and took a seat somewhere in the room. She had noticed that there were a few people already in the room. Once there were more people joining in the event, it had begun. The person who was in charge had introduced themselves and spoke about the activity they were going to do today. They were going to make Christmas Baubles, and Morgan was excited about it! She loves Christmas, it's her favourite time and the holiday of the year. Once one of the girls in charged had finished speaking they would be able to make their baubles. Morgan made her way to the table papers and markers. She had decided that she was going to write different Christmas stories on her bauble, her writing creativity taking over.

Sawyer had joined the arts club on a bit of a whim. He knew he liked to play music and he knew how easily he'd probably end up like Theia and not talk to anyone all year if he wasn't careful, so it'd seemed like a good idea at the time. Standing in the club room for their first group meeting and staring over the assorted craft supplies he was less sure. At least there were instruments for them to mess around on too, which perked Sawyer up significantly. He also had no doubt even if he intentionally made the ugliest bauble he could, his dad would love it.

Emboldened by that, Sawyer scooted over to the instrument table, poking at them curiously. It would be easier to work on a jingle and then slap some decorations on a bauble for it afterwards he figured, picking up the stick for a glockenspiel and giving it a few experimental taps. "Christmas music is usually all chimes and stuff, right?" He asked the boy sitting nearby tuning up a guitar before tapping out another quick scale to match the scale he was tuning. @Lumio Skey

Sydney had been thrilled when she'd heard that the school was attempting to put together an arts club. She thought it was a travesty that there were no real outlets for creative students to do activities any more, and while she found it annoying that the club had its focus spread across so many disciplines, it was better than nothing.

She listened as their new Queens of Crafts introduced themselves, and while Christmas cheer wasn't something Sydney would ever apply to herself, she still spent some time to survey the set up around the room. There was a younger student who'd taken it upon herself to write on her bauble over just drawing designs and Sydney was envious she hadn't thought of the idea first. Grabbing a few strips of paper, Sydney joined her, jotting down a few rhyming couplets on some colourful strips before folding them together in a sort of paper chain of poems. "Good idea," She said brusquely to the younger girl, hoping to express her approval if not her jealousy. @Morgan Harvelle

Lumio was happy to tune the guitar and spend a few moments just getting used to it in his hands. It wasn't his guitar and if he'd known that there would be music he would've brought his own, but he was happy to use this school one. He was still tuning it as he looked towards a slightly younger boy who approached the glockenspiel and hit a few notes before looking to Lumio, it seemed he was attempting to match the notes Lumio was tuning to. He returned a wide smile to the boy, "It can be," he said, "Some are a lot of bells, or piano, and then there's like those ones with guitars, the muggle ones," Lumio said with a shrug, "Do you play?" he motioned towards the glockenspiel and then to the other instruments, they could play together if he did. Lumio didn't know what many christmas songs, but he could muddle his way through, though if they were creating their own little song that would be even better. "I'm Lumio, by the way," he stopped his tuning and held a hand out to the boy.

Aisa had signed up for the arts club because it was the closest thing it seemed like Hogwarts was going to get for a music club. But as she headed to the first event, Aisa wasn't too hopeful. She didn't really feel like gluing glitter to a star to hang in the Christmas tree. But she was going to give it a chance. She was surprised at the addition of musical baubles, and immediately gravitated towards the instruments. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to make any baubles with music in them, but she knew she could happily spend some time playing guitar. There were two other boys there as well, one also holding a guitar. Aisa nodded at them in greeting, then grabbed a guitar of her own and started to play the beginning of a simple muggle Christmas tune she knew. She wasn't going to interrupt their conversation, but still listened to them talking as she played.

Sorry Aisa is so anti social though

Iris had never been as artistic or creative as Lars, but she still enjoyed crafts. Especially embroidery and sewing, though both hobbies often took a backseat to her passion for fortune telling and divination. The event today was really nice, and Iris listened as an older girl from her house explained what they were going to do. Iris headed over to the table with fabric, starting to work on a fabric angel she could sew together. She had spotted Lars working on clay, and waved at her brother before being absorbed into her work. She enjoyed this a lot, and hadn't taken the time to create anything lately. It was nice to take a break from school work and just focus on this for a bit.

Lucas wasn't all that good at drawing, but he did enjoy it. He had joined the art club to become a bit better at it, and because it was a new club and Lucas was curious. This first event sounded like fun, and Lucas listened as the girl explained all the different options. He grabbed some paint and glitter, as well as some paper, and started to try and make something. It turned into a mess pretty quickly, but Lucas was having fun. He was trying to cut out paper stars, but it was trickier than he had thought. He glanced over to where Lumio was making music, wishing for an excuse to join them. But Lucas didn't really play any instruments, and he was also covered in glue and glitter already.

Morgan had been busy with making her baubles, making them different colours and anything colourful with her writing, that she heard a voice that she wasn't expecting. This made the young half-goblin jump out of her seat a little. Morgan turned to where the voice was coming from and had noticed it was an older student. "Oh, ah thanks," Morgan says quietly with a small smile, as she pulled her back behind her pointy ears, as she does when she gets a little nervous. Morgan looks down at what the girl was making. "I like yours. Your one seems like a cool idea too" Morgan says shyly, before going back to making her baubles. @Sydney Townsend

Sawyer nodded attentively as the boy explained some about Christmas music before asking what Sawyer played. "Mostly piano, though you definitely get to hit more thing with this," Sawyer said with a shrug, giving the glockenspiel a few more tentative hits in what could be interpreted as a melody at a stretch. It seemed a bit pointless to ask the other boy, Lumio, if he played guitar as well so Sawyer decided to skip that part. "I'm Sawyer," He said by way of introduction. "You wanna try to throw something together? Lots of major notes and happy sounds right?" He said with a grin, thunking a few 'twinkly' sounding notes out of the glockenspiel. He glanced up when another girl joined them at the table, picking up her own guitar as Sawyer waved hello with the tiny glockenspiel beater. @Lumio Skey @Aisa Hunter

Knox wasn’t sure what to expect from the first conglomerated arts club event, but he was pleasantly surprised to notice it was Christmas themed with many different forms of how to create a Christmas bauble individually. Knox smiled, liking how diverse the room was, and liking the fact he could play music and write his own Christmas jingle for a bauble. It would be a nice decoration to bring home and give to his mum and dad to put on the Christmas tree, and he hoped it would make them happy to have him home from Hogwarts. Immediately Knox sat at the musical instrument table and found a guitar, before slowly experimenting with chord progressions and plucking strings to hopefully form a melody. It would take time to write a proper melody that sounded Christmassy enough, at least Knox thought so, but he was happy to put in the work and make something special for his family.

Theia kept her hands in her pockets, looking around the conglomerated arts room as she arrived for the first event of the year. She noticed Sawyer was at the table with all the instruments and smiled slightly, waving to him from across the room. It was nice to see he was talking to people and possibly making friends, but as much as Theia wanted that for herself she couldn’t help but feel like an imposter, and didn’t want to sit at the same table as Sawyer and bother him, or make a bad impression on the people he was talking to. So Theia instead headed to the table with glitter, markers, and paper to make a bauble, thinking her two youngest siblings might like a bauble with their name on it as a gift. She sat down and began to write Felix’s name on a bauble, trying her best to write it neatly and clearly with the coloured markers, and adding a heart above the ‘i’ for good measure. Felix might hate how girly it looked, but it fit the Christmas spirit, at least Theia thought so. Eventually she began to add glitter to the bauble, covering Felix’s name in glue so his name was glittery and sparkly, hopefully enough that it would stand out on the Christmas tree at home. Eventually Theia looked to the people around her decorating their own baubles and smiled to herself, liking the atmosphere of being friendly and social even if she wasn’t feeling up to being social herself. It was a nice way to begin celebrating the holiday season, she thought.
