Open Books Open But Mind On the Ball

Valeria hadn't lined up a date for the yuleball, not yet, and though she didn't think she needed one, she was quite interested in having one. She just enjoyed having a date to celebrations, spending the time with someone and being able to get compliments on her pretty dress. If she wasn't sure that Ares was interested in someone she might've asked him. It wouldn't be a date, they were friends, but she would have someone to go with and could too, make guys in her year jealous is she was with someone older. All of this thought of the ball and of her future possible date had Val sitting with books open in the great hall but she wasn't actually working on anything from them. She knew she should study, she had exams close by but she wasn't that interested in the subject material she was going over and letting her mind think more about boys and the dance. ​
