Thalia was struggling without her sister around, when she wasn’t, and even though she wanted desperately to try to socialise by herself she just couldn’t. She didn’t have the courage, which sounded lame even to her own ears. She sighed, thinking maybe it was best if she spent one day by herself completely. If Teodora came looking for her, that was fine too, of course. She loved her twin and obviously the time they spent together. But Thalia also didn’t want to bother Tee all the time; knowing how good she was at making friends, she didn’t want to be the one who stopped her from doing so just because she wanted to be with her all day long, every day. It wasn’t fair to her sister. Thalia wanted to be away from everyone today, she wanted a break because frankly being around so many unfamiliar faces every day was exhausting. She rubbed her eyes tiredly and decided she would go for a walk. After minutes of walking however she realised she had arrived at the cliffs and wondered if she was allowed to be here. She was about to turn back when she noticed a boy who seemed very sad. She frowned, she’d seen him cry before, somewhere she couldn’t remember exactly, but seeing him like that...well, she couldn’t just leave him alone. It looked lonely. She slowly went over to him, unsure if she should say something or even what to say.

Wendall had had a bit of a strange weekend. While everyone else was enjoying their Brightstone weekend, he and his family were over saying goodbye to Olive. The second year was sat at the cliffs, cross legged and by himself while he tried to come to terms with it all. It happened so fast, and now so many things had changed. At least he still had the chance to stay in New Zealand, rather than be taken back to America though, which was something the Hufflepuff had been worried about. Now he had a responsibility of his own, and he had a little cat to look after that was likely curled up on his bed right now in the boys dormitories. Wendall caught sight of someone else in the corner of his eye, and glanced up to see a girl he didn't recognise looking at him nervously. He gave her the best smile he good given his mood, and wondered if she needed some help or something. "Hi," he said, hoping that he wasn't in her way or anything.
