Aisling Sullivan

Full Name:
Aisling Sullivan. In Irish Gaelic, Aisling means ‘dream’ or ‘vision’.

Date of Birth:
December 25th 2039

Current Age:
11

Basic Appearance:
Aisling has long reddish-brown hair that is usually worn down or in a messy pony tail. It’s quite wild and uncontrollable and often gets in her way. She has hazel eyes and her facial features are quite sharp and defined. Freckles are scattered on the bridge of her nose.
Aisling is quite short for her age and has a slim build but she is very strong.

Personality:
At first, Aisling comes across as very confident. When you really get to know her though, she is very self conscious and is very critical about herself. This is because her mum has always put a lot of pressure on her to be the best and be the person she never got to be. However, she is mostly sweet, intelligent and cheeky.

Family:
Aisling is an only child and was raised by her mother, Cara Sullivan. She never knew her father, Sean O’Connell, and she rarely sees her grandparents who live in the USA.
Aisling’s relationship with her mother is complicated. Aisling’s mum is a Muggle and she puts a lot of pressure on her to achieve academically and socially. This can make Aisling feel like she isn’t good enough.
The pair of them are very close though and usually get on very well.
Aisling’s father was a wizard who died after getting into a heated argument with another wizard.

Area of Residence:
Aisling was born in Cork, Ireland. She spent a lot of her childhood moving around, and she has lived in Wales, England, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand. She is currently living in New Zealand as her mum wants Aisling to attend school there.

Blood Status:
Half-blood. Her mum is a Muggle and her dad was from a long line of Irish wizards.

Heritage:
Aisling is mostly Irish but has relatives in the USA as well.

Interests or Hobbies:
Aisling plays the fiddle and the tin whistle and is starting to learn classical violin.
She is a good artist and is very creative.
Aisling also played Quidditch as a young girl and is quite good on a broomstick.

Additional Skills:
Aisling is fluent in English and Irish Gaelic. She is also very good at impersonating people and doing accents.

Strengths:
Aisling is strong, intelligent, caring and competitive.

Weaknesses:
Aisling can be very critical of her self and this leads to her constantly telling herself that she isn’t good enough. She is also a bit too competitive which can lead to conflict.

The castles in the UK. She is very interested in history and loves old architecture too.

Hogwarts House:
Aisling doesn’t mind which house she is in but she would really like to either be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

Hogwarts Hopes and Ambitions:
Aisling has her sights set on being a prefect and eventually, head girl. She also wants to join the Quidditch team, however she needs to learn that she can only do so much.

Best school subjects:
Aisling is good at most subjects, but her favourites are History, Transfiguration and Charms.

Worst school subjects:
Aisling greatly dislikes Potions and maths.

Extracurricular Activities:
Because Aisling has never been in one place more than a few years, she has tried many different extra curriculars. She has been in various art clubs, music groups and sports teams during her time at school.

Your Patronus:
Aisling’s Patronus would be a Jack Russel - extremely loyal but also fun.

Your Boggart:
Aisling’s Boggart is her mum saying that she’s failed and that she will never be good enough.

Looking into the Mirror of Erised, Aisling would see her dad. She’s always wanted to meet him and knows a lot about him from the wild stories her mum told her as a child.
