Paige had managed to get up rather early today, which she couldn't always motivate herself to do. However, the new school term was beginning and soon Paige wouldn't have very much free time to herself, so she was going to make the most of whatever time she had now. Once all her classes started to pile together into one giant workload, Paige felt like she'd have no time for anything else. After casually cruising through her classes with 'Poor' grades in previous years, Paige had finally realised that this magical education was the only one she was going to get, and that her days learning normal things were now long gone. Which meant that she needed to pass at Hogwarts, and that she was going to have to work really hard just to catch up. However, Paige didn't want to think about all that just yet so she turned her mind towards what she was going to do today. With nothing big planned, she decided she may as well make herself another woven bracelet, even though she had about a hundred already.

Paige had been making them for a couple of years now, and she always had at least six wrapped around her left wrist. Today was no different, and most of the ones Paige had picked out were themed in Hufflepuff colours. Almost completely obscured by the others was a plain white one, which Paige had been wearing for nearly seven weeks. She didn't need to see it though, just needing to know it was there. Once she was ready, she walked out of the dormitory and made her way down through the castle. She wanted to be outside today to enjoy whatever pieces of sunshine she could. Thankfully it wasn't raining, but the girl decided to stay in the courtyard, just in case she had to quickly dash inside. You could never really tell with New Zealand weather, especially at this time of year. Settling herself down, Paige looked around while she set up her threads. She liked it here in the courtyard, because due to being surrounded by people she could pretend that she was part of some larger group; pretend that she belonged. Looking down as she tied the beginning knot, Paige soon became engrossed in making her bracelet.
