Bonnie had thought it would be odd to go to Jon’s for new years. It hadn’t been something she’d thought she’d agreed to, but it was because of Liusaidh that they had been invited, she’d become friends with the little sister of the Phillips family - well not phillips but she was Jon’s little sister, so the connection had been quite good. She had put on a nice outfit and the had told her sister, begged her little sister to behave while at Jon’s , She was sure that Liusaidh wouldn’t that she’d do something but if they could hold off on that for a little while and then she could handle it. Bonnie just hadn’t spent that much time Jon since they’d split up and she just wanted to impress him. She wasn’t sure how she felt towards him, but part of him just wanted things to go well, they could at least be friends again. She’d accept that too. Bonnie apparated at his door, with Liusaidh tightly attached to her. She put the girl down and then walked up to the door. She knocked and glanced back towards Liusaidh giving her another imploring look.

Liusaidh had wanted to go to Marie’s house for the new year’s evening. The slytherin hadn’t been sure that her sister would agree to it, but it had helped arrange it and so they were heading to her house. She had rolled her eyes at Bonnie’s words, but her dad had said the same. Not to the same degree but it seemed he wanted Liusaidh to behave just a little. She didn’t think she was poorly behaved, not at all, instead she was just not caring and often, found herself not really knowing when things crossed lines though on some occasions she absolutely did know and did them anyway. ”Ah’ll behave,” she retorted to her sister when she gave her a last look. Liusaidh would try, she liked Marie enough so why wouldn’t she want to spend this evening with her. It wasn’t like back home was much fun. Aonghas was busy at the family new years ceilidh, he’d be making the ode to the haggis, and it wasn’t like the wee bairn Fraser would be there, so Liusaidh knew this would be more fun.
