Y37 Ravenclaw Practice One

Thalia kept pushing forward, nearly close enough to the hoops to attempt a score. When she was, she attempted to throw the quaffle in the side hoop, but it went wide. She sighed, feeling like a failure in this practice.

Juniper was minding her own business, watching the game, when she saw Chloe hit a bludger. For a moment, she was excited for her... until it came right at her hitting her right shoulder. She held in her discomfort and flew after the bludger. Good thing she was left handed.

Hattie watched as Ajaccio caught the quaffle once it was thrown back out, staying close to him in case he needed to pass. However, that wasn't the case at all since he actually managed to score. She cheered for him as she waited for the quaffle to be thrown back out again to one of the twins. Hattie stayed close to her too, but unfortunately the girl just didn't manage to score. Hattie caught it this time as it was thrown back out.

Sawyer watched closely at the activity at the other end of the pitch. It was hard to tell what was happening from so far away, but he could see clearly when Hattie got the quaffle again as she started making her way back down the pitch towards him.

Juniper could still feel the pain in her shoulder as she readjusted herself on the broom. She saw a bludger come nearby and attempted to hit it but missed. She stayed where she was at for a moment hovering.

When Hattie managed to get close enough, she threw the quaffle as hard as she could and watched as it sailed right through the middle hoop. She beamed with delight, cheering for herself. She had finally managed to score.

Sawyer tried to keep his eyes on Hattie and not get distracted by any of the other movement on the pitch. He swerved to the left hoping to block her shot, and groaned when he realized she was aiming for the center hoop. Flying down, Sawyer scooped but the quaffle he'd missed and tossed it back out to the chasers.

Teodora caught the quaffle after Hattie had also managed to score, growing more irritated that she still hadn't been able to score herself.

Ajaccio cheered when Hattie too managed to score and then followed in behind Teodora who caught it once it was thrown back out.

Minnie continued to search for the snitch once more. She could note that some of the team had had a little success, that was good.

Once Teodora was close enough to Lars that she thought she could score a goal, she gave it her best shot. Unfortunately for her, the quaffle hit one of the hoops instead of actually going through.

Thalia watched as Hattie first took possession of the quaffle and then scored, happy that at least both her and Ajaccio managed to. Now it was just her and Teodora, but hopefully they’d score soon. She sent her twin a sympathetic smile as she tried to score but failed once more, as she waited for the quaffle to be thrown back into play.

Chloe still felt bad about hitting Juniper but it was part of the game. She couldn't see any bludgers anywhere near her line of vision this time though, so she flew over to Minnie to shield her from any incoming danger.

I hope I'm doing this right, it's been 4 hours

When the quaffle was thrown back into play, Thalia caught it, and began to head in the opposite direction, thinking that maybe if she passed the ball back and forth with someone they'd have better luck at scoring.

Lily was still a little upset with herself, but continued her search for the snitch again

Sawyer watched as one of the twins took the quaffle to the other end of the pitch, craning his neck to try and keep track of it as Lars threw it back in. The other twin had it now and was heading back, so Sawyer tried to center himself in front of the hoops in preparation.

Teodora followed her sister when she caught the quaffle, flying next to her as they made their way across the pitch.

Thalia kept pushing forward to Sawyer's side, really hoping to be able to score this time. She briefly glanced to the side and noticed Tee was there. She threw the quaffle to her, hoping she wouldn't drop it.

Minnie was still failing to find the snitch again, but this practice had been pretty good for her. She'd managed to do it twice. Hopefully that would be good enough for the game.

Teodora caught the quaffle when her sister passed it to her and pressed forward on her broomstick, determined to score a goal.

Chloe kept flying along Minnie, still no sight of bludgers. What was happening in this game.

Teodora sped towards Sawyer and knew that she had to make a decision quickly. When she knew that she was close enough that not scoring a goal would almost be impossible, she decided to throw the quaffle in the left-most hoop. She cheered as it went through the hoop, happy that she had, at last, managed to score a goal too.

Sawyer tried to keep track of which twin had the quaffle, tensing to react to which hoop they would target. Unfortunately, as they threw in the quaffle, he wasn't faster enough, hesitating a second too long to see where they'd throw and watching the quaffle sail through. Sawyer sighed before grabbing the quaffle and throwing it back in. He was clearly slowing down as practice went on.

Thalia cheered when her sister scored, finally! She was ready when Sawyer threw the quaffle and she caught it with ease. With the ball tucked under her arm she immediately began to fly to the other side of the pitch.
