Amaya couldn't take it anymore. She missed Abian so much. He was her closest friend, and it hurt her to be without him. She didn't want to be without Kace either, and unable to get it out of her mind, she was sure there was some sort of compromise. She hurried up to the seventh floor, determination in her step as she made her way through the crowds. She had had enough, she wasn't going to spend their final year at school fighting. She spotted her boyfriend quickly and jogged over. "Kace! Tarzan, wait up," She called, coming up after a brief moment. A bit of fear struck her, and worried about his reaction, she didn't speak right away, instead just coming straight up and hugging him. She buried her face in his chest, wanting to savor the moment before she potentially started a fight.

Kace turns away from a crowd of his fellow housemates, he smiles up to see his girlfriend jogging towards him. "Hey, what's up Lady Jane," mused the prefect. His arms wrapped accordingly to her petite waist. Kace moves them away, sensing something was off. He questions the way she hugged him, and of course, the hesitation before the hug. He's getting familiar with her moods, the way she is. "Aye, you alright? Something happened?" He begins to ask, pulling back to study her face. "You can tell me anything, what's up?"

Amaya didn't want the hug to end, but when he pulled back, so did she, taking a small step away but trying to stay close. "Kace, baby, I love you," She started off, shifting uncomfortably. "You know me better than almost anyone else, you know how awkward I am socially and how I've never really had a lot of people in my life." She bit her lip, fidgeting a moment before taking a deep breath and looking up to Kace. "Kace, I... I need you to talk to Abian. He isn't listening to me, I can't fix this by myself." She brushed her hair behind her ear, nervous for his reaction. "Please, I know you guys haven't really... gotten along well in the past, but I really think if the two of you just talked, it would be okay. I know you, I know him, it's just this big misunderstanding," she pleaded gently.

He was eyeing her with concern until she mentions that lame a*s dude's name. Kace stiffen, his jaw tighten from the tension suddenly overcoming him. "Why?" Kace ask a little less interested, the strain noted in his tone. "Wait before you answer that, remember, remember he's the one that started this all first. We were having issues, but, he had no business coming at me wrong. Amaya, I told the dude to back off but he wouldn't."

Amaya bit her lip and sighed softly. She knew this wouldn't be easy. "I know, baby," She brushed her fingers over Kace's, trying to stay as soft and non-confrontational as possible. "It was misguided, and he shouldn't have. But he meant well, he only did it because he was worried for me. The entire fight was ridiculous, and I just want to put the entire thing behind us. Please, Tarzan? Just talk to him," She pleaded gently, looking up to him with dewey brown eyes. "It's tearing me apart that you two are still so angry with each other."

"See there, right there," Kace steps back out of reach. "You admitted it just now. That it was his fault, so why I gotta be the one to talk to him first? Why do I have to go out of my way to fix something he started?" Kace said, furrowing his brows intensively. He didn't get it. He didn't understand it at all. "It makes no sense, Amaya. And if he actually was your friend at all he would've came to me correct. The dude is lame, like, seriously. You don't need him. You got me."

Amaya winced as he stepped away. "Kace," She pleaded gently. "He's my best friend. He matters to me, and you matter to me, and I refuse to choose between the two of you. Yes, he didn't approach you in the best way. I understand. But he won't approach you because of how violently you reacted. In his eyes, he was trying to look out for me. If he could just see the you that I see, if you two would just talk, things could be better," She bit her lip, wrapping her arms around herself. "This fight hasn't been fair to any of us, not you, not Abian, and not me." She wanted to step forward, but she was almost certain he wouldn't let her. "Please? For me?" She tried again, keeping her voice soft. "Just... one little step. Say hi, try to talk just a little bit. And if it doesn't work, and he doesn't want to talk to you, I'll never bring it up again," She promised, hoping Kace would listen.

Kace shook his head, there was no reasoning with him. The muscle in his face tense up, although, his heart felt it had just dropped at the pit of his stomach. "Violent? When? He started with me. Violent? Do you hear yourself," offended, that's how he felt. Violent? So typical. The city kid is always the violent one. Kace shook his head again and turn to leave. "I'm done. We're done. I can't do this anymore. If that's how you see me, then what's the point? Later."

Amaya's heart dropped as she saw his face. She wanted to argue, tell him they had both been wrong, try to make him understand. But for the first time in a very long time, she was speechless. She couldn't help the heartbreak that flashed across her face. Was it really going to end this way? Was he so caught up on his ego that he couldn't even try to talk things over? Her lower lip trembled as he turned away. "Kace..." She breathed softly, tears welling up in her eyes. She started to reach for him, but stopped herself before she could touch him. "Kace, no..." She pleaded gently.
