There was some movement nearby as Abian tried to make a shot and Elliot kept the other players in his peripheral as he scanned the pitch. Today's practice was definitely going to be him practicing staying alert while still searching, but it was difficult.

Amy grabbed the Quaffle as it was thrown back into play and flew off. Looking out for someone to pass to, she tried ignore the sun in her eyes.

Still frustrated he'd lost sight of the snitch earlier, Elliot tried to re-center himself- literally. Moving to the center of the pitch, he started scanning the ground and sky methodically, hoping for a sign of movement.

Still a bit on edge, Elliot flinched when he heard movement in the air, laughing it off nervously when it turned out to be another player this time and not a bludger.

Not seeing anyone behind her, Amy decided to take a shot. Squinting a little, she flew up to the hoops and threw the Quaffle. She missed, and flew off again, hoping that she'd have a bit more luck next time.

Though the chasers hadn't gotten a goal, Analei couldn't really fault them, or complain, as she wasn't doing any good at hitting anyone with bludgers either.

The ache from Connor's bludger hit was finally starting to ease up some and Elliot kept flying in his practiced sweep of the pitch, eyes peeled for any sign of movement that might indicate the snitch was about. Or that another bludger might be headed for him.

Lauren kicked off from the ground and hold her beaters bat. She flew the to left side and tried to spot some bludgers. She noticed the young boy hitting Elliot really quick. It was good from him, but Lauren needed to be succesfull too. She smiled shortly to the boy and continued.

Spotting something darting around mid-field, Elliot moved that way, dodging past Lauren and hoping she was in a more defending that attacking mood today.

Elliot picked up speed when he realized he had managed to catch sight of the snitch, though it had quite a lead on him. Weaving past some of the chasers, he shot after it, hoping to close the gap.

Analei saw a bludger headed towards her, so she whacked it away from her as hard as she could, frustrated that it didn't hit anyone in return.

The snitch was still several feet in front of him and Elliot urged his broom faster, gritting his teeth when it swerved sharply and he was slow to follow after it.

After Amy missed her shot, Abian grabbed the quaffle when it was thrown back into play. He tucked it under his arm, flying a small lap before preparing to score.

Even with the lost ground, Elliot tried to keep the snitch in his line of sight. As long as he had an eye on the snitch he still might be able to head it off, though the gap between them as he tailed it was large enough to be discouraging. Doggedly, Elliot still shot after it, turning sharply as the snitch shot upwards and to the left.

Elliot gripped his broom in frustration as the snitch managed to feint right, causing him to shoot straight past it. By the time he'd turned back around, Elliot had lost sight of it again. Still keeping an eye out for bludgers, he quickly scanned around him, hoping to spot it again before it got too far.

Spotting a bludger flying toward Abian, Analei quickly zoomed in front of it and whacked it away from him.

Elliot flinched at the sound of another bludger being hit, relaxing some when he saw it was Analei protecting the chasers. Unfortunately, he'd totally lost the snitch now, sighing as he started scanning the pitch again.

Lauren saw Elliot close and was not planning on targetting him for now. If she spotted a bludger she would try and send it to someone else. For now she failed hitting something.

Deciding to put some space between himself and the rest of the game, Elliot flew up a bit higher, resuming his slow scan of the pitch.

Instead of protecting him this time, Analei hit a bludger wincing as it hit @Abian Hunter . It was always a bittersweet moment.

Still circling the pitch, Elliot was glad he had made it down to the opposite end of the all the action, wincing when Analei managed to hit Abian with a bludger.

Still keeping his eye on Analei and the other beaters just in case, Elliot's heart lept when he spotted the snitch fluttering near them, not too far from where he'd lost sight of it. Too excited to feel annoyed at himself for missing it, Elliot shot towards the others, dodging past them in pursuit as the snitch tried to shoot away. The other players and balls moving about helped funnel the snitch's path though, and Elliot was able to head it off, snatching it from the air with a noise of triumph.

Analei cheered when she saw Elliot had caught the snitch - he definitely was the best seeker she had ever seen.

Abian was flying to the hoops with the quaffle, grinning. He smiled at Analei as she hit a bludger away from him. But then things turned around, and she hit a bludger at him instead. He yelped and dropped the quaffle, veering right after the bludger hit him. He shook his head and looked up just in time to see Elliot had grabbed the snitch. He grinned, then swooped down to grab the quaffle again.

Elliot ducked his head when Analei cheered, releasing the snitch and giving her a thumbs up before doing a quick lap around the pitch so he could resume seeking.
