Slytherin Quidditch Practise

Liam saw Leda getting the snitch now and it really seemed like a game between the two chasers he flew close to Leda and put on his thumb. It was good that competition it made them better it seemed. But than he was distracted and got hit by Sapphire with a bludger. Liam frowned she was not supposed to hit him. He ignored it for a moment, but at least she hit something. And if she wanted a game she could get it also. Liam continued with flying and saw a bludger close and send it towards Sapphire. He grinned shortly as it hit her.

Blake turned and flew away from Jasper, trying to get back to what he was doing. The snitch wasn't gonna find itself and he wanted to keep his lead over Leda.

Sapphire was brushing her hair out of her eyes when a udger smacked in onto her side. She jumped, looking towards Liam and sticking her tounge out at him before giving him a wide smile. Ah well

Jasper frowned at Leda's words, but was ready to move on until Blake's words. "SHUT UP BLAKE!" He yelled angrily. He considered bumping into Blake again on purpose, but the other boy flew off. Enraged, Jasper flew off in the direction of the hoops. He managed to grab the quaffle.

Jai sighed as people in the team continued to yell at each other even after one of the captains reprimanded them. The young boy then just tailed after Jasper as he flew with the quaffle.

Apparently Liam didn’t feel like getting involved with the arguments their team was having, which meant it left to Leda to try and fix things, which was a scary thought enough. The Slytherin hadn’t heard what Blake had said, but there was clearly something going on between the boys. Sapphire and Liam managed to hit each other and Leda was just thankful she’d not taken a bludger hit all year.

Blake chuckled softly under his breath at Jasper's cry, turning to give Liam a confused look, as though he didn't know why Jasper was yelling at him. Too easy. He then turned back to searching for the snitch, which was frustratingly proving a much more difficult task.

Leda was still keen to catch the snitch again before the end of the practise so she was on par with Blake, and headed off in search of the ball again.

Sapphire kept near Jai, as there was a bludger wandering near him now.

Blake kept searching high, making sure he was well above the chasers as he continued his search for the snitch, frustrated at how long it was managing to evade him.

Leda tried to keep away from Blake, hoping that if either were attacked by bludgers, at least one of them might be spared.

Sapphire followed as the bludger wandered closer to Jasper again. Just where was it heading? Trying to read the jumpy ball was challenging. But she was enjoying herself.

As the team seemed to calm down, Leda was able to focus on the task at hand, and flew around the pitch trying to find the snitch.

Jai followed after Jasper still, waiting for the other boy to pass the quaffle pr attempt a shot.

Sapphire caught something out of the corner of her eye as she spotted a bludger heading directly for Leda. She shot towards it, barely managing to get between the bludger and the captain in time. She swatted it away with enough force that she nearly toppled off her broom, but she managed to keep seated- barely. The bludger she'd hit bounced off the hoops. She grimaced. "Oops," She breathed, chasing after it to try and intercept it now that it was closer to the chasers.

Blake kept searching for the snitch, grumbling under his breath. It was beyond frustrating not being able to widen his lead.

Still angry with Blake, Jasper flew up to the hoops without really paying his surroundings any mind. He threw the quaffle as hard as he could at the hoops. He was happy to see it go through, and a small grin appeared on his face. At least that was going well.

Sapphire shot in front of the bludger, knocking into Jasper a little as she batted it away back towards an empty bit of air. She put her hand on his arm, trying to steady him and herself. "Sorry," she apologized quickly. "I figured it was better me than the bludger. Nice shot," she flashed him a wide smile before darting away again.

It seemed as though Sapphire was doing well, but not wanting to take focus off the snitch, Leda continued to hunt for it.

Leda wanted to catch the snitch once more before practise was over, but it was looking less and less likely.

OOCOut of Character:
Practise will end later today!

Sapphire came to a standstill after getting some distance from Jasper, wiping her brow with her sleeve. Playing guard duty was intense.

Jai caught the quaffle as it was put back into play. He took a lap around the pitch for a bit, deciding that maybe he'd attempt to get another shot in or pass if anyone were free.

Leda knew she’d have to keep her eyes peeled if she wanted to find it again before Blake did.

Sapphire rolled her neck before turning to look for the nearest problematic bludger.

Seeing as there wasn’t any other chaser near him, Jai took the shot on his own. It ended up being too wide and missed his target - the right hoop.
