Vader had rushed out of the common room the first occasion he could, only taking the time to grab the important camera as he had rushed out. The stuff he’d been working on replaceable, the camera not. He’d stopped in the empty bathroom of the fifth floor. Where he’d remained until his breathing had evened out, until the crying had stopped and until he felt like he could emerge without looking a wreck. The same could note be said for his face. His right eye was a little swollen, bruising on the right side of his forehead, temple and cheek was a rather terrible colour and seemingly only worsening. He peered at it in a mirror. It was bad, it would incur a lot of questions, Ava wasn’t going to be happy not after she had so recently defended him against one bully. But, maybe it was time to at least get Vegeta to stop, he knew, he hoped Goku would still help him. He couldn’t continue on with the constant threat of Vegeta. They shared a dorm together, Vader had so much to worry about and his actions were only getting worse. So, Vader pulled his jumper’s hood over his curls, moving the blond hair until it covered as much of it as possible and headed to the slytherin area, after some quiet rushed questions, Vader had been told that Goku was in the abandoned classroom. Vader headed there and stepped inside the room, spotting the boy immediately and getting an odd sense of relief, ”Goku, I changed my mind, teach me how to fight,” He barely made an attempt to fix the hair again to cover the worsening bruise.

Jigoku Arai was in the abandoned classroom, with a towel on his head. Since he was a little bothered with looking so much like Vegeta, Goku figured that he would do something that would make him stand out. So, he dyed his hair. It was supposed to be red, but it turned out to be a little more pink than he expected. Still, it looked good, and he wanted to keep it that way for a while. Goku didn't know what he wanted to do in the classroom besides get some peace and quiet, though practicing calligraphy sounded pretty nice too. He emptied his bag onto the desk he was going to work at, but the door opened. Goku turned around to see a welcoming sight. Goku listened as Vader said that he changed his mind, then he saw why. The tenseness, the way his blonde hair covered one eye. Vegeta had to have done something. "I can tell he did something to change your mind. Not that it pleases me that it resorted to this," Goku sighed as he brushed his hair out of his eye. "Just so you know, I have a green belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, before I go into the adult ranks, and Ikkyu in Judo. It is below Shodan, or black belt. Vegeta knows nothing of these arts, so even the basics will make you are a higher level than him." Goku gave a small smile, hoping that Vader was comprehending. Basically, Goku knew much more than Vegeta because Goku took many years studying and mastering the arts.

Vader shied away slightly when Goku seemed to realise why he was coming to him for help. The Gryffindor gave a weak smile, letting his gaze take in the other boy, noting the pink hair. He nodded when the other boy spoke, saying words that didn’t entirely make sense to him, but he knew that it just meant that he was skilled at fighting. Vader looked away from him, ”I can’t,” he sighed a little, he could feel his body beginning to shake lightly again, he felt calmer than he had but he was almost worried that he would say no. Vader brushed the hair out of his eyes a little, exposing the worsening bruise on his face. ”I don’t mind what you teach me, you just have to help me,” he felt bad for nearly pleading with Goku to help. This wasn’t what Goku likely wanted to spend his time doing, Vader felt awful for asking, he couldn’t help the embarrassment over having to ask for help in this matter, but Vader didn’t know what else he could do, he knew Vegeta was only getting worse. ”Just name a time and place Goku, I’ll make it work,” Vader didn’t have a lot of time to spare, but he would find the time for Goku, to learn to fight and to be able to stand up to Vegeta. It would help that he was doing it with Goku, there was no one that Vader trusted more than him with this matter. He had offered his help when Vader had done something nice, he hadn’t needed to and he just needed it.
