Right after delivering to Lauryn, Rose realized she had another Hufflepuff rose in her basket. She looked around, but knew she wouldn't recognize the girl. Instead, she cleared her throat and decided to just try shouting her name and seeing if anyone reacted. "Anyone named Analei here?!" She called, standing on her tiptoes to see as much of the table as she could. "Rose delivery!"

Analei hadn't sent any roses this year. The previous year, Zennon hadn't liked it, so it slightly put her off from sending any, just in case people got upset again. Still, she couldn't imagine most people would, as she watched the people around her receiving their roses, everyone seemed happy. It made her sad that she had missed out. However, just on that thought, she heard her name called out. Analei perked up and looked towards the person calling out. Analei decided against making the girl walk all the way to her, so she quickly got up and made her way to the Gryffindor girl. "Hey - I'm Analei." The blonde said with a smile.

Rose noticed a girl approach and was hopeful that it would be the girl she was looking for. "Hello Analei, I'm Rose. I'm here to deliver myself." She said with a grin. Then she laughed. "Kidding! Just can't resist the jokes. Here." She held out a yellow rose to the girl. "Happy Valentine's day!"
Note said:
Dear Analei,

Thank you for being my friend, you are really amazing.

From Arvel :)

Analei stood, slightly confused for a second when the girl said she was delivering herself, and it wasn't until she held out an actual rose, that Analei understood. "Oh - oh! I get it! Because your name is - and you're delivering roses - sorry!" She giggled. "Thank you." Analei said, as she took the rose and note, smiling when she saw who it was from. She'd have to apologize for not sending one in return, and make sure he knew that his rose and note would go right on her bed stand! Analei looked up at Rose. "Thank you." She said again. "How many do you have to deliver?"

Rose noticed the girl didn't get her joke at first, but grinned widely when she saw the girl understood and laughed at it. "Yes! Exactly, I've been making these jokes for years, they just don't get old." She said with a grin and a shake of her head. "It's a bit silly." The girl's question made her glance down at her basket. "Just the one, but it's for Professor Styx so between you and me, I've been putting it off." Rose said with a grimace. "Are you in first or second year?" She asked the girl, curious which of her sisters she shared classes with. Rose figured it had to be one or the other.

Analei's mouth dropped slightly, and she stared at Rose in disbelief when she said that she had a rose for Professor Styx. "Seriously? I didn't even know Professor's got roses - who would send him - no sorry that's mean!" Analei said, catching herself in time. She didn't know this girl, and she would hate for word to get back to the man that she didn't like him - it wasn't just that; she was terrified of him. "Second Year. What about you?"

Rose giggled at the girl's reaction, and quickly shook her head to reassure her. "Oh, no that was pretty much my thought process too." She said with a smile. "I haven't read any of the notes so far, but I was really tempted by this one." Maybe that wasn't the sort of thing a prefect should admit, but she really had been tempted to see who would send the professor a rose. "I'm a fifth year. You must be in classes with my sister Diana, do you know her?"

Analei nodded her head to Rose's response, glad she wasn't angry at her for what she said about Styx. "I can imagine you were." Analei replied, wondering who it was that had sent one to him. She was definitely going to have to discuss this with Arvel. She nodded her head again when Rose said she was fifth year, before stopping abruptly when she said that Diana was her sister. She couldn't mean the mean Diana, could she? But Rose was so nice! "Y-yeah. I think I do." Analei responded. She didn't know what else to say. Analei hadn't spoken to Diana in a very long time, but that was on purpose.

Rose was excited to meet someone who knew one of her sisters, but the girl's pause before answering made her worry. She was reminded of how Diana had been bullying Jacob Kingsley not too long ago, and how she was still coming to terms with what that said about her sister. This nice girl seemed hesitant to even bring her up, and it made Rose concerned Diana's bullying problem was more wide-spread than she had thought. "I hope you don't mind me asking this about her, but... I recently caught her being really mean to a boy in her year." Rose admitted, though it felt a little bit like a betrayal to Diana to say this to a classmate. "Has... she been mean to you too? I'm sorry to ask, but I'm worried about her."

Analei has to do some quick thinking. Diana hadn't really been that mean to her. It really didn't surprise her that she had been mean to someone, it was definitely the vibe that Analei got from the girl. And if this was her sister, then there was no way that Analei could be mean about her, not without making herself yet another enemy. Besides, what had Diana even done to Analei? "No. She hasn't. We don't really talk that much - at all really."

Rose sighed softly as Analei told her her sister hadn't been mean. Now she felt bad for presuming and asking, and giving this girl a bad impression of her sister. Why hadn't she kept things to herself? Sometimes she could be such a blabbermouth. Maybe she could still make things right. If Diana got wind of this, she would be angry. Maybe rightfully so. "Oh, good." Rose said brightly. "She's usually not a mean person, I think she has some sort of fight with this boy. But I'm glad she's not mean to you." She said quickly. "Anyway, enjoy your rose!"
