Name: Rosie Chamberlin Year & House: Ravenclaw Fourth Year Lesson Missed: Three Rosie couldn't be fully sure, but she was pretty sure that some was about to go on between her and Nikandros Matthias. Out of the blue he suddenly started coming around more and more and Rosie found him to be interesting. There was something intimidating about him at the same time but Rosie figured that was just her nerves. It felt nice to have someone care about her once again. Rosie's grades were starting to slip, and that was because she was feeling alone and it started to show. Her parents were getting divorced so they were too busy for her, Bruno was away so he was too busy for her, and Bryce had a girlfriend who seriously sucked up every free moment he had. Being lonely made Rosie not have the energy to care what happened. But she made herself promise that she would pick herself back up and keep going. She was going to maintain her grades one way or another! Entering the classroom, Rosie settled herself down in her usual seat and prepared her notes and supplies in case she needed to take any. The Ravenclaw had no idea what they covered last week so she really needed to catch up. Professor Spenser revealed that they were going to be talking about Easter Island. Rosie nearly giggled at that due to her always forgetting that Easter Island didn't have to do with the Easter holiday involving rabbits and Easter baskets. Instead it had to do with an island that had these spooky statues situated onto them. There were a lot of theories on how they got there, but Rosie had no idea which to believe. Rosie was shocked to hear that some of the statues were up to 70 feet tall and 40 tons each. How on earth did people move them back then? There was no way that they could have! Perhaps it was Wizards and Witches that existed back then and created these statues? Magic would definitely aid in moving such large statues. Or maybe the statues were once living people that just turned to stone for some reason? Well the people would have to be giants, but those existed too so why not? Rosie heard that they had a homework assignment due and she scribbled down the assignment before she headed out of the classroom and back to the dorms. |

Name: Nikandros Matthias Year & House: Gryffindor Fourth Year Lesson Missed: Three Nikandros Matthias knew that this week would be quite boring. Sometimes he had the thoughts that this was the middle of the semester. The middle lesson before the next two lessons before a study lesson. Unless the class was lame and taught on the last week before exams. Nikandros shook his head as he entered the Charms classroom that he had to be in with the other third years, almost missing the separation with the four houses. But at least like this, he would be able to see that one girl that he was really started to crush on. He could not help it. It seemed he might have had a thing for brunettes, but he also liked the blonde hair too. Well, it was really depending on who, and how they wore it. Shrugging, he settled in the seat before he got ready for the class to eventually begin. The fourth years were informed that the class was going to be short since the professor was tired from last week. Nikandros would definitely not mind that since he did not like lectures to begin with. They mostly bored him senseless. He looked around to see some other students probably thinking the same thing he was. They were going to be discussing the Easter Isltand today, and how historical it was. The statues there seemed to be the object of the lecture, which Nikandros had to wonder, why in the world was the professor so excited over bloody statues? The professor was a little crazy to find that amazing. He rolled his amber eyes but the lecture was soon over thankfully. The Gryffindor gathered his things and he left the classroom in a hurry to do something a bit more fun. |

Name: Damon Kyle Year & House: Hufflepuff Fourth Year Lesson Missed: Three Finally, the third week of lessons, and Damon Kyle looked forward to the rest of the semester with the other students. Well, he was not sure if they looked forward to exams. Alas, he entered the History of Magic classroom, and found himself at ease with the subject that he was going to be learning soon. Damon really wanted to just sit down and get started! Damon found his seat in the front of the class, and he settled in beside his best friend. He waited for the others to arrive which was getting closer and closer. He was one of the first ones to come in here, out of all of the third years anyway. Third years were plentiful for some reason, and then when one looked at the older students, it was not so much! Oh well, it was something he looked forward to. He waited for the lesson to begin at last. The lecture was apparently going to be short, which made Damon a little anxious. He wanted to get out and go do something really fun! Could he be helped? Probably not. He got out his notes so that he could take overs over the subject for today, which was apparently the Easter Islands. Statues from volcanoes or something? That sounded awesome! He took notes over the rather short lecture which helped more than anything else. He learned a bit about the Easter Islands and it was very interesting for the young Hufflepuff. He made sure that he had all of the things down and then heard the dismissal. He left the classroom, somewhat in a bad mood, or rather with a frown since he was feeling like he was losing his best friend. Sofii was spending a lot of time with Bryce but what could he do about it? |

Name: Professor Bryce Chamberlin Year & House: Ravenclaw Fourth Year Lesson Missed: Three Though the holidays seemed to be a bit farther away, Bryce Chamberlin still thought that the weeks were going by too fast. He looked forward to the weeks ahead, and he really wanted to spend some time with his sisters. After all, the Ravenclaw missed them a lot, and he hated being the youngest and the only one in the school. It just blew. Bryce walked into the Charms classroom and he took his seat near the front where he would wait for Rosie to come and sit down next to him. They always sat together even though he was dating in Sofii. They were both artists, or aspiring artists. Bryce really looked forward to the class ahead since he liked attending the class. Bryce did not really have a least favorite anymore, but the less spells, the better for him. At least they were going to be learning something new, which can’t be that bad. The fourth year read the lips of his Head of House, and the lecture would be short since he was tired. Bryce did not see why but he was not going to complain. He liked reading the lectures. It was over the Easter Island, an island that he had read a little bit about it. Bryce shrugged his shoulders and he thought that this was better than going to a field trip or something where he would have been conflicted to either hang out with Sofii or hang out with Roo. Somewhat a short lecture, it was still enough to keep Bryce entertained and interested. Bryce looked up at the professor as he dismissed the fourth years. Bryce was very relieved to have the rest of the day off to get other things done. He packed his things up and he left the classroom, eager to go enjoy the day doing whatever he wanted which he did not know yet. |

Name: Sergei Zhefarovich Year & House: Slytheirn Lesson Missed: Three The third week of lessons was just like the Wednesday of the week. Right in the middle and right between the start of the year, and the end of the year. It really sucked, and Sergei Zhefarovich hated it. He wanted to go home and go enjoy himself. However right now, it just seemed like they were going to be doing nothing good in Charms, however he knew that in order to pass, he would have to pretend to like it and perform the spells correctly. Sergei walked further into the classroom and found his seat in the back like per usual. Sergei’s eyes drifted up to the professor and noticed on how she was, still just something about her that made him sneer. It was annoying as hell. Well, the class would begin soon as the class started to fill up with other third years that were eager to learn this crap Professor Spenser started up the lesson saying that it would be very short. Well that was a blessing. The lesson was going to be over the Easter Islands, something he knew jack on. Then again he did not want to know anything about it either. The professor went on about the whole thing of statues which he seemed to be loving it, and wondered why he was bothering with teaching when he could be snuggled next to the statues or something. Rolling those silvery eyes, Sergei gathered his notes together and made sure that they were complete before he heard that the class was dismissed. Sergei heard the homework but like hell he was going to do the homework. He rarely did that. Sergei sighed and he left the classroom once he had the stuff packed and whatnot. He had better things to do than to do the homework. |

Name: Sergios Romanes Year & House: Gryffindor Sixth Year Lesson Missed: Three The third week of lessons should be enjoyable for some students, and that might even include Sergios Romanes. He might have been a prefect but he was not very good in classes. He was more like those jocks and all, but he did not want to be given his grades just because he was the captain and seeker of the Gryffindor team. He was quite proud of his small accomplishments so far. Sergios sighed and he wondered if there would be an easier way to attend class, but right now, it proved to be more of a chore than anything. Until he realized, as he walked into History of Magic classroom, that he was going to be learning about more of the founders. This time, he was sure that they were going to be learning about the founder that he cared most about. That would be none other than Gryffindor. And indeed they were learning about Gryffindor today, and Sergios took out some of his notes so that he could know a bit more. Sergios started off with where Godric lived, which was in Godric’s Hollow, which was definitely obvious. Sergios rolled his eyes at such a pointless statement. That was obvious after all! However they were informed that Gryffindor was an avid fighter against muggle discrimination. That made him seem a bit more admirable in the Gryffindor’s eyes. He hoped that he would be able to learn some more. The sorting hat used to belong to Gryffindor too, and he had his own sword. Then they were dismissed. What a short lesson! He gathered his things and left the classroom. |

Name: Kailie Styx Year & House: Slytherin Sixth Year Lesson Missed: Three Finally, it was the third week which normally meant that it was time for another group of lessons, which was no too horrible. The third week meant that it was close to the holidays. Kailie Styx did not really look forward to them because she would have to see Caspian and she did not really want to. Letting out a sigh, she walked into the History of Magic classroom and took a seat, not really wanting to learn about a founder today. The Slytherin Prefect looked up at the professor that seemed happy as ever. He normally seemed like that and wondered what his secret was, and if he would share with the class. Probably not, since smiling and whatnot looked really weird on her face. It would look forced. Kailie wondered which of the founders that they were going to learn about. Slytherin was already done so who else was there? The professor greeted them and said that his lecture would not be so long today. Slytherin seemed to have the best past of all of the founders. Kailie was not surprised. She managed to get out some parchment, ink and a quill so that she could take notes over the founder of Gryffindor, the one that had some issues with Slytherin. It all came down to blood prejudice. That started wars and everything, which she found to be rather pointless. She did find it impressive that the Gryffindor guy had once had the sorting hat. That was pretty neat. Kailie finished up her notes as soon as they were dismissed. The lecture sure did not last long, which she was glad for. She left the classroom to study some. |

Name: Mima Scarlet Year & House: Sixth Year, Hufflepuff Lessons Missed: One, Two, Three Lesson One Although Mima had let herself falter, she would not fail again. This year, she'd keep her head held high and let nothing get her down. Even if she was lonely and screaming on the inside, she had the most well put-together facade of an ice queen that she possibly could. She was graceful, she was poised, and she wasn't going to let herself be walked all over. Since confronting her inner self she'd felt freer, and although she knew there was a lot more inside her that she had to come to terms with, she'd managed to quiet Maribelle's voice, freeing herself of what felt like a lifetime's curse. With a serene look on her face, Mima took a seat in the History of Magic classroom. She didn't feel the need to say hello to any of her classmates - she didn't talk to any of them enough to know them beyond their names and faces. It didn't matter. She pulled out her note-taking equipment and listened carefully to the professor, who informed them that this year they were to be studying the house founders. That would be interesting, she thought, considering she didn't really know that much about them. She knew that Hufflepuff's founder was Helga Hufflepuff, but aside from that, she knew nothing of the woman who bestowed her name upon her house. It was a good thing, then, that they were learning, and learning now and not next year, when it wouldn't be important at all. With the lesson done, Mima gave a small nod of thanks to the professor, before quietly exiting the classroom. --- Lesson Two Mima sat down quickly and quietly in the History of Magic classroom, not meeting the eyes of any of her fellow students as she focused on pulling out her notetaking materials. This week they were learning about Slytherin. She looked a little pensive at that. Slytherin. The house I was meant to be in. Her family were mostly all Durmstrang alumni, of course, but if there'd been any house she'd belonged in at Hogwarts, she had been told it would be Slytherin. Her family's ghosts had made it clear to her that she'd messed up by being placed in to Hufflepuff, as had the portraits, and her uncle and aunt. It wasn't their problem. She was who she was and she couldn't help what the sorting hat had decided. As the professor lectured, Mima scribbled down notes.
She was curious to know more about the story of the Chamber of Secrets, but she supposed she'd have to learn more about that in her own time. Packing her things away, Mima headed off for the Great Hall, looking forward to lunch. --- Lesson Three This week's lesson was to be on Godric Gryffindor. He'd been mentioned in the previous lesson - for being against Salazar Slytherin's 'purebloods only' stance. Mima may have been a pureblooded witch, but she was in Hufflepuff, not Slytherin, and she thought that those of muggle lineage brought interesting new things to the world. While it was hard to imagine life as a muggle, she supposed it would be kind of dull if wizards kept solely to their ways. Muggles had all these fancy things like "computers" and "machines" that made life a lot easier, whereas wizards were firmly stuck in the past. There wasn't anything really bad about muggles and Mima thought they could learn a lot from them, so she was kind of glad Gryffindor's arguments had won out in the end. Listening intently, Mima scribbled down notes once again.
Hufflepuff got boring colours, she thought to herself with a grimace, as she packed away her things and left the classroom. She was more curious to learn about Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff - there was so little she knew about them and she wondered if they had interesting stories of their own. |

Name: Sergios Romanes Year & House: Gryffindor Sixth Year Lesson Missed: Five Fifth week of lessons meant that the holidays were coming up, and Sergios was not sure on what he wanted to do this holiday weekend. Well, breaking out of his arranged marriage would be lovely. Sergios debated on how to do that as he entered the History of Magic classroom knowing that he would probably be the first one there. As a Gryffindor, he had a stature to uphold for his house, which was behind Slytherin. He did not know how Slytherin managed to get as good as they were, but it was highly annoying for the Prefect. Everything used to be so easy to do, which was winning the House Cup but it had not been that way for some time. Sighing, he settled down to learn about another house, which could be good for him. Maybe. It was Hufflepuff this time, since it was the only house left to go over. What better way to start the lesson than to state the colors of the house and the animal as well? Hufflepuff was seriously underrated to Sergios. Badgers could be hostile; he was sure. Helga Hufflepuff was the name of the founder. The founder could live in Wales when she was alive. Sergios wondered if that was where she was from or not. It would be nice if she was. It seemed as though the recipes that they use in the kitchens here used her recipes. No wonder the food was so good then! Sergios felt impressed with this knowledge. Taking notes appeared to breeze by and soon enough, the professor dismissed the students for the day. Sergios packed his things and left the classroom to go study some in other subjects. No more founders to learn about, surprisingly. |

Name: Kailie Styx Year & House: Slytherin Sixth Year Lesson Missed: Five 1. Kailie Styx felt excited over having some time off school. Even now, she felt as though it were exhausting. The Slytherin prefect walked into the History of Magic classroom. Her icy blue eyes landed on the Gryffindor prefect in the room. Kailie smirked a bit to herself as she wondered if Isabella Pisces and Sergios Romanes was a thing or not. Kailie thought that it would be kind of cute, but all she knew about the girl was that she was in her year and in her dorm. Kailie did not have many friends, or any at all. She did not really care for people and that would not change. She sighed a bit as she settled into her seat, her eyes settling on Professor Spenser before the lesson began. It was only a matter of time since she did not come in too early. Kailie made sure of that, since she hated being too early for anything. Hufflepuff. Now that was a house that was rare in her family. Her older half-sister was once a Hufflepuff when she attended the school years and years ago. Kailie took out some parchment, ink and a quill so that she could take some notes down. She snorted when Professor Spenser said kindness. Her nephew Hades Styx the Second definitely did not have that trait. However, he did work hard. Kailie wrote down where the woman could have lived. No one really knew. She was famous for food, so Kailie wondered if she was obese or not. She loved the house elves as well. She was also best friends with Ravenclaw. Well, that might be why they worked so well together. Shrugging, she heard the dismissal and left the classroom. She was glad that the founder information was finished. |

Lesson 4 Stepping into the classroom, Preston had an annoyed expression on his face. He had gotten into an argument with one of his roommates just before he’d left the common room after the guy had accused Preston of stealing something from him. Moments later, he had discovered the stupid thing under his bed. Preston had felt like hexing the boy for wasting his time and for annoying him so much, but he’d simply left the room, slamming the door as he left and daring anyone to speak to him. Slipping into his seat and tossing his bag on the floor, Preston gave the guy a murderous stare when he stepped into the classroom a few moments later. Luckily, they didn’t sit anywhere near each other in the classroom or Preston might have stabbed him in the back of the neck with his quill. As Professor Spenser began the lesson, Preston turned his attention to the front of the room. It was hard to pay close attention, but Preston listened to the professor speak about Easter Island. Preston had never been there before, but he had certainly heard of it. Preston felt bad that he couldn’t drum up the excitement that the professor was feeling over the lesson, but he was in too bad of a mood. As the professor dismissed them with an essay, Preston shut his notebook. He’d either get the homework from Indiana later or he wouldn’t do it at all. At the moment he didn’t care. Packing quickly, Preston left the classroom, being sure to bump into his roommate as he did so. He heard the guy’s yell of protest but simply continued on, thinking about how he would exact his revenge. |

Name: Vixen Zhefarovich-Dolohov Year & House: Slytherin First Year Lesson Missed: Three, Four and Five Three: Vixen Zhefarovich-Dolohov had a lot to think about. She remained bitter over the whole Sorting Hat thing, calling her similar to her mother. The Scitorari-ridden woman deserved what came to her. Vixen listened a lot to her aunt Rayna who actually did not like the woman. Not that Vixen really knew. The ghost vanished a long time ago, and her dad remained around for her and her huge clan of siblings. She wanted to spend more time with her older siblings, but who knew where Christian was, and then Aleyha and them were all too busy to hang around her. Sighing, Vixen walked into the History of Magic classroom and found her seat. She looked over to find a few of her relatives there, so she sat next to Vladimir. With him, she felt a little safer and not so alone. She had family here; she needed to just remember that. Professor Spenser started the lecture with the Salem Witch trials, a subject that Vixen found interesting but sick at the same time. people seemed to have a fear of witches during that time. Professor Spenser went over the appearance and the history of the Salem Village first. The Slytherin girl got out her notes and she started to write down the key facts when it came down to the subject. The professor went over the two sisters named Betty and Abigail. Then two women were accused of witchcraft which made her raise an eyebrow. Some people just did not know things, and she found it hard to believe that some people could be so gross and cruel at the same time. The Salem people probably killed them in the worst ways, but wondered if they were muggles or not. The professor dismissed the students, so Vixen got up and left the classroom. Four: Finally, the nearing weeks made Vixen Zhefarovich-Dolohov look forward to the holidays. Everything would be better with the holidays even though she did not have any parents to come home to that she could embrace anyway. Shrugging her shoulders, the Slytherin entered the classroom, disappointed that she was still in the same house as her dreadful mother. Vixen let out a sigh as she entered the History of MAgic classroom. She walked toward her cousin and sat down next to him without saying a word. She moved her hair over her shoulders and she looked forward with her silvery eyes. Everything appeared to be going well with her grades, even though she still felt weird about everything. Students made her nervous. She had never seen the likes of so many mixed-bloods and whatnot. Not much could be said about her opinion on them. Honestly, Vixen did not really care. She did not want to be prejudice, afraid it would lead to her early demise. Vixen raised her eyebrows when the professor seemed really happy today. And the students were going on a field trip? Vixen could feel herself getting excited. Someone answered the question about what the object was that would take them out. It was called a portkey. Vixen knew very little about them, but knew that the spell could be cast on anything. The students would be going to some sort of museum, one that she did not know the name of. Vixen took off her robes and she walked up and touched the portkey once it was time. She almost threw up by the time she landed since it was horrible to experience. She walked around the museum and did not really care for the history of the United States, but the entire exhibit did interest her. It showed pride. She found herself at the school once again, thought it was relieving. She left upon dismissal. Five: 1. The Slytherin girl finally seemed to be accepting the fact that she was a Slytherin. She would have to face it, her father would have been a Slytherin too. Ravenclaw was just another house that she wanted to be in. But she belonged in Slytherin somehow. Everything was looking up. Vixen managed to find her owl and she mailed her father once more. He could have someone else write for him. Vixen looked forward to the holidays. Vixen smiled subtly to herself as she walked into the History of Magic classroom again. The classes would be over soon, and that much she looked forward to more than anything else. She did not want to have so much homework due. And flying made her physically sick. She hated it, and did not want to have to fly again. Yet, she knew that it would happen. Vixen looked at the professor and waited for the lesson to begin. Professor Spenser looked really tired today, and wondered if the students would have a free day. Now that would be fun for her, since she did not really want to experience the portkey experience once more. The lecture would be short though, which meant that she would not have to be in the classroom for very long. The subject was over Harry Potter. She sighed since she did not want to bother with that man, but she did not have much of a choice. She did not want to really hear about him since she thought that he boy was overrated. However, it seemed as though the students did not have to sit there for much longer! She gathered her things and left the classroom. |

Name: Clara Zhefarovich Year and House: Hufflepuff First Year Lesson Missed: Two-Five. Two Clara was earlier than most to her History of Magic lesson, and was surprised that her feet managed to take her to her classroom without getting lost. It was only their second week of lessons, but Clara had done a lot of wondering, so she supposed she was getting used to it which was surprising. The Professor seemed to be a bit late, so Clara waited patiently and quietly for the class to start. She had her quill seated neatly next to her parchment. Soon enough, the class started and Clara listened carefully to what the Professor had to say, writing down the notes. The blonde wasn't too sure of the answer to the question the Professor asked, and felt a bit stupid; she should have known the answer. Trying to shrug it off, Clara continued to write notes and listen carefully to the Professor's lecture. As the class ended, Clara headed back to her Common Room, not feeling the motivation to do her homework. Three Clara felt like a ray of sunshine. For some reason, the young blonde had awoken feeling on top of the world. She knew it was going to be a great day, and even the slightest bit of anxiety that because today was a good day, the next day was probably going to suck didn't dim her mood. If she was going to have a good day, she wasn't going to let the thought of tomorrow ruin it. Clara was going to take the day as it came and she was going to enjoy it. Smiling brightly, Clara skipped to her History of Magic lesson. She got her parchment and quill ready as the Professor set them up for another lecture lesson. Even though Clara thought she wasn't going to let her day be dampened, the Salem Witch Trials weren't a fantastic subject. Her heart broke when she saw the graves. It wasn't fair for them to have to die. She wondered if all witches and wizards were truly sinful; she had never thought about it that way before - she had never thought about there even being a God before. It wasn't their fault that they were born into witchcraft though. Clara would never use her magic to harm anyone as much as she could help it. The young girl sat quietly and listened to the rest of the lecture, leaving the room a little bit more down than when she entered. Four Clara was nervous to go to her History of Magic class. The week before had been so morbid, and Clara couldn't stop thinking about if maybe she was somehow evil? Maybe, no matter how hard she tried not to, she was destined to do evil things. However, her mood lifted somewhat and her thoughts quickly changed. They were going on a field trip! How exciting! Clara was somewhat concerned when the Professor pulled out a Mummy relic. She was unsure what it was for, or what it was supposed to do. Surely it can't be a real Mummy? Clara nodded as the other student told them what it was. She had traveled via Portkeys quite a few times with her family. Clara almost jumped out of her seat when the Professor called them to the front. Squishing next to her fellow classmates, Clara excitedly touched the Mummy and off they went. The blonde was somewhat disheartened when she found that they had free reign. Who was she to go with? Clara looked around, but decided she would just go by herself - that way she could look at what she wanted to look at, and didn't have to worry about anyone else. It would have been nice to have spent that time with a friend, but as they arrived back at school, Clara still had a smile on her face, buzzing from the field trip. Five The blonde Hufflepuff had awoken miserable. The cause was unknown to her, but for no reason, she could feel her eyes well up. Taking some deep breaths, Clara plastered on a fake smile, and walked to her HoM class. Hopefully it would be something cheerful - her Professor was usually energetic so perhaps she could sponge some energy off of him. This would not be the case, however, as the Professor looked like he needed about a weeks sleep. Clara frowned, feeling sorry for him, wishing that there was more hours in the day for him to do his work. She wondered if there was a way for magic to create more time in the day. It was something she would have to look into. If she found out, then perhaps she could let him know. Clara, of course, knew who the Boy Who Lived was. Her whole family was brought up knowing him, and she would be amazed if there were any wizarding family who didn't know who he was. It was a short lesson, and Clara did not feel like leaving the cozy room and returning to the real world, but knew that her Professor needed some peace and quiet so she left quietly and went to the library, hopefully to keep her mind busy. |
