Professor Trina Adelia
Member Avatar

The door to the charms classroom was open and Professor Adelia was already inside, seated at the desk. On every desk in the class there was a set of torn and tattered books. Paper were falling out of some and others just had rips in the pages. All the books had some kind of damage done to them.

Once all of the students had arrived she walked over to the door and shut it. Trina returned to the chair and clapped to grab the class' attention. "Hello class. I hope you are all doing well. As you can see, there are damaged books on your desks." she said and most of the students nodded. Some just did not acknowledge she had said anything. "We will be learning a charm that will repair these books to their original condition." she continued. Standing up, she went to the chalkboard and lifted her wand.

Repairing Charm
Incantation: Reparo
Pronunciation: reh-PAH-roh

Severing Charm
Incantation: Diffindo
Pronunciation: Deeh-FIN-doh

Professor Adelia turned back to the class. "The repairing charm can be used to fix broken jars, tattered books or any object you need want repaired. However, it does not really fix broken wands. The wand will only be fixed physically if this charm is cast upon it. The wand will still be broken internally" she told the class. "We will also be learning the countercharm to this spell. The severing charm can rip and divide objects into smaller pieces. This charm can severely hurt a person if it is used as defense. After you repair your book you will sever it. I will repair them again later." Trina still had to discuss the special wand movements for this charm. This time, they were more complicated then all wand movements for charms before. With her wand, she showed the wand movement for the repairing charm. "That is how you should move your wand when casting the repairing charm." Trina then demonstrated the wand movement for the severing charm. "The Severing charm's wand movement is a bit easier, but please make sure to point at your book when casing it."

Trina glanced at the clock. "The incantations are on the board. 'Reparo' for the repairing charm and 'Diffindo' for the severing charm. You may now begin practicing the spells on you books until class is over" she told the students. She was sure that they had been waiting to start mastering the charms. Professor Adelia walked around the classroom to watch as students had success' and failures with the charm. When the time was up Trina walked to the front of the room. She clapped her hands together. "Our time together is over, so please make sure to leave your books in a severed condition. Have a nice rest of your day as well."
Homework: Roleplay the lesson.
