"Good Morning everyone!" Connor said as she entered into the Charms classroom, "Today you will learn how to move any given object from one location to another." She now approached the front of the classroom; today, she looked a little bit tired and worn out, but she put on his best face and continued. "The charm to achieve this is the Locomotor Charm. You simply swish and flick your wand then say 'Locomotor' and then the name of the object you wish to move." She pulled out her own wand, for she was eventually going to demonstrate.

"For example, Locomotor Chalk."
As she performed this, a piece of stubby white chalk moved itself to the chalkboard and wrote "Locomotor _________" on the board. It then fell motionless again as she put her wand away, bits of dust being knocked off of it on impact. "Now you may notice each of you has a piece of cloth on your desk, either green or yellow, opposite the color of the house you are in. For example, if you are in Slytherin you will have a yellow cloth on your desk." She paused for effect, and then continued, "Today you will play a game of sorts in that your goal simply enough is to have the cloth color of your house when the period ends and to stop people in the other house from doing the same. You cannot move from your desks however, so you must use this charm." She smiled, then sat down to observe the game, crossing his arms. "You may begin," She instructed in a deep tone, prepared to be amused.

[justify]     Rosie entered the Charms classroom and stifled a yawn. Her third year at Hogwarts was almost over with, and she was trying her best to push through with all O's. Rosie was a little bit sad that it was almost over with. Fourth year probably wasn't going to be too much different than this one, but the OWL's came a year after that and Rosie wasn't fully sure if she was ready for that or not. Rosie didn't like exams to begin with, but these exams were going to decide a lot of her future. "I really shouldn't be worrying about this now." Rosie thought to herself as she found her usual seat and sat down. Right now she should be focusing on her third year exams and finishing the year out with a bang. Poor Bryce had to deal with Rosie stressing out during exams. By now he was probably used to it, but she still pitied that he was the one stuck dealing with her antics. Rosie pulled out some writing supplies just in case notes would be needed and waited for the Professor to start the day's lesson or tell them what they would be doing today. To Rosie's luck, the Professor began not much longer after the last student arrived.

Today they were going to be going over the Locomotor Charm. Which was used to move any given object from one location to another. Rosie pulled out her wand and laid it on the desk in front of her, knowing that she would need it for the day's lesson. The Professor demonstrated with a piece of chalk, revealing the incantation along with it. The Professor them told them that they had a cloth on their desk to practice with. Rosie had a green one. They were going to be playing a game where they would have more colored clothes on one side rather than the other. They were let loose to practice and Rosie decided to give it a go. "Locomotor cloth!" Rosie did the swish and flick move and watched at her cloth went from her desk to the appropriate side of the classroom. As the game went on, Rosie managed to get a couple more clothes over to the other side. When the class was over with, Rosie was sad to admit that her team had lost. Oh well, it was a nice try. After they cleaned up, class was dismissed and Rosie left the room alongside her classmates.

[justify]The fifth week was rolling in, and there was nothing Nikandros Matthias would love to do than to sit back and laze around, but he could not. The Gryffindor needed some good grades or else he would have to deal with his dad and he did not want to have to deal with him anytime soon. Nikandros sighed as he entered the classroom and he found his seat toward the back but not in the main back either. Nikandros sighed and he looked ahead at the professor before he wondered what they were going to be doing today. There was only so much that a Gryffindor could do. No doubt what they were going to be doing today, after he had realized where he was. Charms was one of those classes that one would have to predict on what they were going to do, and he recalled there being another spell or two. So that was what they were doing today.

The Charms professor greeted everyone like she always had now that she had been here for the entire semester. Well, almost, there was the last lesson remaining after this one. He wondered if she would even make it. The charm that they were going over was one to move something to somewhere else. That seemed easy enough. The name of the charm was the Locomotor charm. He had seen that one before. There was going to be a game today, and he looked at the cloth on his desk and it was a blue one. For Ravenclaw? The game was started, and it took Nikandros a fair bit to even get a cloth to him, and he got his stolen by some Ravenclaw twit! He growled and he got competitive. He managed to keep two cloths of his color, but none of the enemy’s by the time he was dismissed.

[justify]Damon Kyle was looking forward to the holidays, unlike before in the past. Just a couple more weeks to go, and he knew that he could do so much with his new family. The lack of a mother bothered him, but not that much anymore. Damon smiled to himself as he entered the classroom and found his seat near the front of the classroom. He looked to his right and left and did not see Sofii there and he frowned. Well, she might show up here soon. He did not look for Alaska since she did not like him much either way. Brother or just peer, he was not liked. Damon did not know why because he thought that he was lovable. Damon smiled all of the time, and even now while the third years piled in, he was still smiling. Then again, not much could take him to smile anyway! All he had to do was think of happy things, and he had a lot of them.

The Charms professor greeted everyone and then told them that they were going to be learning a charm that would move one object to another location and immediately Damon was excited! He could not wait to learn this! He beamed and he made sure to remember the charm which was the Locomotor charm. All they did was swish and flick and say the spell which was Locomotor plus whatever they wanted to move. That seemed really easy! Now they were going to be practicing with a piece of cloth on the desk, and he noticed that he had a green cloth on his desk. He smirked because he could not wait to play this game! He heard that they could begin and immediately Damon went to get this done! He managed to get his cloth color, but he somehow managed to get one of the blue ones as well. He shrugged and he liked this game. He gave the cloths to the professor and left as soon as they were dismissed.

Professional Photographer - Seer - Part-Veela - Divination Professor (Y5-Y7)

[justify]The Ravenclaw looked forward to the break off of school. He really needed one. Bryce walked into the classroom, noticing that Roo had yet to come into the class just yet. He wondered why, but he did not question it too much. He did not want to see like the best friend that was just so overbearing. Bryce sighed and he found his seat and saved the one next to him for Roo, while his eyes wondered to see where Sofii was. He noticed that her best friend was there already, and thought that the Hufflepuff guy was pretty cool. But he did not know his name, and Bryce did not give him a name either. Bryce looked up to the class, and he was positive that they were going to be doing something useful this lesson, as soon as everyone else arrived. The other students filed into the class and were soon settled.

Bryce read the greeting that Professor B had told everyone. He had nicknamed her Professor B because it would be easier to remember. The charm that they were going to be enduring was none other than the charm that could move one thing to another place. He wondered why banishing didn’t work as well. Well, that could be destructive. So he could see why they would have to know this spell. He wrote down the word once he saw it, and how to perform the spell on his notes. Once he was done with that, he read what they were going to be doing today, which made his eyebrows rise. A game? Bryce looked down upon his own cloth, which was red. He would have to get the blue ones. So once they were instructed to begin, he got out his wand and he got to work. He managed to get two blue cloths, and keep a few red ones as well. He left the class feeling proud.

[justify]Finally, it was the fifth week of lessons, which meant that there was just one more lesson in each classroom before moving on to another set of uninteresting classes ahead. Sergei did not want to really do much to begin with, but earning Slytherin a lot of points made it worthwhile. It had taken a while, but Sergei was finally taking an interest in the house that he was in. Sergei settled into his seat in the back of the classroom and waited for the rest of the idiots to arrive, sans his relatives and the few that he actually talked to. Then again he never talked to anyone now. He was busy doing his own thing and it was going to stay that way since he did not want to do anything else. Sergei was not interested in a lot of things. Just some things. Sergei sighed and he thought that he needed to just get over some things and get to work.

Once the other idiots arrived, the professor went over the spelt hat they were going to be learning. It was called the Locomotor charm, a charm that he had seen used several times by his father when he was moving things around. Only it was nonverbal and wandless. Neither of which he would be able to do on his own for some time. The spell had to be somewhat difficult if third years had to learn it, but he would be thinking that it would be simple in a couple of years time. His silvery eyes drifted down to the yellow cloth upon his desk and he muttered once he heard the game, “Are you kidding me?” Apparently not since the game soon began much to his dismay. And his cloth was immediately snatched. Sergei lazily pulled out his wand and he tried to get his cloth, but he did get his own color, which was green for Slytherin by the time the day was out. He was being lazy but who cared. He didn’t. He left the classroom in a hurry.

Monochromat | Class of 2038 | Former Head Boy | Healer: Magical Bugs

[justify]It was the second last week, and the teen was excited for the lessons had in store for him. He enjoyed learning and doing things, so it was understandable that he also enjoyed charms. Charms was that lesson that he was able to do without giving it too much thought. He just did the charm and went on with it. It would then mean he could practice anywhere, mostly, and it would be easy. The spells were not overly complex, though they were becoming more and more complex as time drifted on and on. As he grew older, and soon they would move into Fourth year territory, and that too would be even more complex. He was sort of looking forward to such a thing, since he knew that all good things had to come to an end of sorts, so his easy ride through all this too, had to come to an end. It was in this fifth week of Charms that the teen was most hopeful for another useful spell which they could learn. He was up bright and early reading the charms book hoping for some clue as to what they might be doing, but alas, he got none. And it was around that time, that the teen noticed that it was time to get to class.

Stepping into the room, the teen made his way to his usual spot up at the back, and then pulled out all the necessary items that he would need for this lesson. All of the ones he believed he might need. It wasn't too long after that the professor began her lesson. He watched as she explained the spell that they were going to be doing, and then preformed it herself. His eyes drifted to the cloth on the table, then he looked back up at the professor, as she began explaining what would be involved in the lesson. This was slightly unfair. The boy had no idea what colour the cloth in front of him even was, how was he meant to take part in a game like this. He wouldn't know if he'd gotten it right. However, he would try. "Locomotor red cloth" He said, pointing in the general direction of the clothes, imagining that one of the clothes might come near him. One did, but he had no clue as to if it was even red. And after he'd done that, the teen just sat in silence and did nothing else, until the class was dismissed and he was able to leave. Glad it was over.
