This was their last class before exams. Professor Black was confident that her students would be able to do well on their NEWTs, well, most of them would be able to. She didn't have anyone in particular that she was worried about not passing. As she sat behind the desk, she prepared to grade and return their pages that day so they would be ready to go. They were not covering anything today that was taught this year, but she wanted to make sure they reviewed that on their own.
As soon as the class was there, she stood and began. "Today is your last Transfiguration class! You should be very proud. You have done something that no other students in this castle can claim. You have completed seven years of Transfiguration and are prepared to take the NEWT. Congratulations!" She made a wave with her hands and their previous work flew to the proper desks. "Your work from last week was excellent as always. You will be ready for anything that we throw at you on the NEWT." With a nod, she turned and picked up the last review stack. "I have one simple change for this week. I ask that you stay while I grade your paper so that you may have it for review. After you have your page back, you are free to go. I will see you all when you sit for your NEWTs in a week." She handed the last paper out, then turned and made her way to her desk once again. Sitting down, she flipped through her magazine while waiting for students to finish.

It was the final week of lessons, and nothing could stand in his way to passing the exams called the NEWTs. Hades Styx the Second had so much to do, and so little time, which bothered him immensely. He hated that. At least he would not be at the Yule Ball again. Hades sighed as he walked into the Transfiguration classroom still doubting why he had bothered to come at all. He noticed that the desks were moved around again, but since this was Transfiguration, he was never surprised at it. He found his seat in the back still, away from the other seventh years. Once he was settled in, and the others arrived, they were informed that this was their last Transfiguration class, which as definitely not surprising. They were going to be sitting in, and doing a review today like the previous several weeks. He received a sheet, and he got started on the sheet. By the time he finished, it was time to leave and he did not have any energy to practice.- Review

Samual entered the Transfiguration classroom and released a sigh. It was the end of lessons, which made him nervous. After lessons came the exams. Sure, Sammy was confident that he had been working hard in his classes and doing revision and his work and taking notes, but the NEWTs sounded really scary. All previous years didn't really matter now that he was doing the NEWTs, his marks in previous years wouldn't be changing his marks this year or anything, it all relied on now. That was definitely some pressure and the Gryffindor was feeling it. He sat down in a desk and nodded as the professor spoke. He looked at the paper and shrugged. Revision was good, he would know this stuff and be able to use it in preparation for the exams. That was always a good thing. - Quote:

Make Up? Lesson Three - Quote:
-
Samual entered the Transfiguration classroom happily. It was already the third lesson, it was just really surreal. There needed to be more weeks in the year, or atleast more time to spend at school. More weeks in the year wouldn't be too bad. It'd mean more time to have to learn things before exams. Just the thought of exams gave him a cold feeling in his stomach. Exams were scary, even now. Especially now, he hadn't learnt everything they're supposed to learn, or he's forgotten it all, which probably wasn't very good. Sammy looked around the classroom with confusion. Well, at least he wasn't the only confused person, that was a relief. There were an awful lot of mirrors. They were big and circular and reminding him of his sister's bedroom. It wasn't a happy thought. Tessa's bedroom was a horrifying place for any boy, there was far too much make up and shoes and dresses in that death trap. He tried to let it escape his mind.
Professor Black caught his attention when she began to speak. He sat down at a desk and lent on his palm. This should be interesting. When he learnt that they would be changing their ears, he had to tilt his head. They were changing their ears? That didn't sound like a great idea. Sammy liked his ears. It turned out that performing the spell on someone that wasn't expecting it was illegal, which was surprising. The three tap method was usable in the situation, which was not too surprising, and Samual made sure to listen to the spell. He watched as the professor gave several demonstrations. He had to admit, it was pretty cool. It was his turn. He looked at the image of the ear. He didn't want any of those problems that the professor mentioned. It took him a few rounds, but eventually, he managed to change his ears, after using the three tap method and the incantation. He wasn't game enough to try non-verbally just yet.
Lesson four - Quote:
-
Samual entered the Transfiguration classroom and took a seat. He was a little tired today and hoped that they wouldn't be doing anything too challenging, he doubted he would accomplish much if it included heavy concentration. He rested his chin on his palm as the professor informed them that NEWTs were around the corner. Everyone was reminding them about that. He came to expect it. However, he was happy to hear that they were doing revision for the rest of the year. That was good, he liked revision. When he got his sheet, he began quickly. Once he had finished, he turned it into the professor and left the classroom.- Quote:
