Lesson 3 Professor Snow was quite impressed from her sixth year student's work from last week, if they were doing this well already then she felt it would be no harm if she continued them onto the next topic planned. Finishing up the last of her grading she noticed that students from her Sixth Year class began to file in. "Welcome back guys." She stated softly before she placed her paperwork aside and stood up from her desk to walk around and stand in front of it. Becoming a Professor was the last thing Effie ever thought she would end up doing, but somehow she felt that it was the best thing she could have ever done with her life. Hopefully Today's lecture will prove just as interesting to the students as the others have been, especially since it was short and simple. " Today's lesson will be short andhighlight that there are also cycles within the year that you should be aware of. The calculation of the Personal Month is extremely basic, but the result no less significant than that of the Personal Year and should provide guidance for you in how to progress through the challenges of each year. In order to calculate your Personal Month, we simply add the numerical value of the current month to your Personal Year." Effie pointed her wand to the board where some writing began to appear on it. They were notes that carefully explained how to calculate your personal month. "The Personal Month should help you navigate the more immediate challenges and situations contained within the Personal Year." Effie added in as she as she stared at the class carefully with her different colored eyes. It was always interesting to see people's results so Effie offered to help any of the students her assistance in helping them calculate their personal number. Homework: 1. Roleplay the Lesson 2. Calculate your Personal Month and Comment on the Result Personal Month |

1. Proserpina Laurent walked into the Arithmancy classroom and found her seat. She was excited about several things this week, since she had Arithmancy and she had also received a letter from her crush that she had no idea if he had even felt the same thing for her. She was sure that he didn’t though, but she could dream. She remembered that he had the same last name as Professor Snow, and she wondered if they were related somehow. Proserpina thought about that as she sat down in the front seat, like she always had. The front seat helped her see better. It really helped her learn more when she sat at the front. With this class, she was more interested in than anything else, even though it had no help to her future career. She just enjoyed taking it. Oh, and she really loved numbers too. It reminded her of math. Professor Snow greeted them and Proserpina frowned a bit when she heard that the lesson would be short. That was not what the Prefect wanted to hear! But she would live though, since a little bit of the class was good enough for her. They were going the personal month this time, and it was actually easier than the personal year. They were told on how to calculate the personal month by adding the current month to the personal year. She remembered that her personal month was the number eight. The personal month would change with each month it seemed. They were then dismissed as soon as the class was over. She was happy that she managed to get it right though. She was just really relieved. She gathered her things and left the classroom.
